To all Aspirants,
we did not make up this rankings, its TOI's.
and we posted not because SIBM,B is so high but because we were asked by a few students and parents during admissions to share survey reports.
To believe it or not is upto you guys.
Yes, it does seem a bit weird at certain places but considering it was published by India's No.1 daily, we decided to give it benefit of doubt.
Besides, we posting it seems immaterial when more than 3 crore people would have read it anyways.

but please as seniors of the college for which we r aspiring, atleast just read before posting anything...
everybody knows the fallicies in the list....& we as aspiriants expects some genuine posts from seniors...

we posted the survey because we participated in it.
I do not know how the rest of the rankings are done, but regarding SIBM,B, there was a multi level questionaire that was sent to us regarding the college and some verifications also done about it.
As we participated, we put it up.
Besides, forget those rankings, we have been around the top 30 for the last 3 years, even by Pagalguy Rankings-and our average package shot up this year-so where do you think we would be?
Guys, please take these rankings with a pinch of salt... I know some names are always questionable..But what is more important that you (aspirants) know what you are getting for what you pay... That, can only known by talking to seniors,alumni, visiting the campus, checking the institute's overall performance etc.
Rankings are only estimates of a college's true potential as seen by the surveyors- they can never be accurate and always debatable..
So as of now, let the discussion move away from rankings and to more fruitful discussions like always 😃
Sari baat yeh hai ki SIBM Banglore is the fastest growing B-school in INDIA...... I have noticed this in past 3 years..i m closely following that... Aur agar mera ho gaya to main to definately aunga wahan....No wonder ki uska cut off bhi high tha..Next year u can expect an even higher cutoff....3-4 saal mein itni tarakki.... wah...

There are discussions egarding "Safe scores" to get the final merit call from the institutes (considering the cutoffs and break-up structure)
what do you reckon is the "safe %ile" for sibm-b merit call?
seniors and puys in ur opinion whc s better SCMHRD(MBA-IM) or SIBM-B???.i m just askng an informal personal view...

I don't think there is one. If someone has a 99.9 percentile but didn't perform well in the GD/PI and/or doesn't have a stellar academic record, it would substantially lower his/her chances.
40% of the weight-age depends on one's SNAP score but the rest of the 60% is up for grabs. The final result depends on one's GD/PI experience and overall profile- which is almost impossible to chart.

(For the nth time)- Cant compare colleges on Pagalguy ... Find out about both these colleges/courses yourself and make an informed choice 😃

Why are these correct.. Afair, these are almost the same rankings when I was a T.I.M.E student 2 years before and an year before that as well..So, you mean nothing has changed in the last 3 years?
