first things first congrats from getting the call from TAPMI...your percentile is not less....its decent....do well in other left out selection parameters and you can be in....extempore topics?....well I can say it can be anything under the sun....read between the lines.....beauty paegants....smoking....wto anything....so do not think much on that....as far as procedure lasting for 2 days is concerned...its just a routine and do not see much through it....for most of the candidates its like that only....second day you have to face an interview with our director sir and deans....and have to submit a write up on why you want to join TAPMI or why MBA etc...its a 1 page write up....do not worry and do well

i have heard that lateral placement are not there in tapmi i have work ex of about 1.5 yrs 2yrs till i join ,and salary is around 3lacs.is it advisable for me to join tapmi.my cat percentile 90.3

I will say 89.5 is qite a decent percentile....do not worry much on it....in our batch we have people whose percentile ranges from 83 to 99.5....so do well in the coming selection stages....engineers have a good chance of getting into TAPMI..we are 80-85 engineers out of 135 students....lots of them are freshers...though engg is not a criteria for selection....non engineers are also quite a talented lot here
I too am in the same boat as MissionMBA with more than 3 years of exp. My CAT percentile is 88.27.

jassi u didnt answer my previous quetion regarding lateral placement .what is the average salary package of manipal.about 3-3.5?so is it advisable for me to join tapmi if i am already getting thia much and also how important is letter of recomendation in selection procedure

to all of you with work-ex I will say do not worry about it....we have the concept of lateral placements here....infact you will come to know the day by day improving placement scene once you land here for GD/PI....
regarding procedure continuing till next day...there are full chances so plan out your stay for atleast 2 days here

fee stretching 6+ lac is just a rumour.....as far as I know....fee is normal and it is in accordance with other institutes....in totality I will end up paying around 3.5 or so in two years including all expenses....TAPMI is coming out with new campus....if that comes up than the fee will be increased as indicated in the brochure

hello .... i am an electronics engg presently workin as an asst. manager. i have a 19 month work exp. my 10th n 12 marks r also above 80%. everythin is good till this point. the bad news is that i have just 88.02 %ile in CAT. i have received a call frm TAPMI thou. int is on the 24th. wat do u think r my chances??? is it true that in APMI ppl who hav int in the early days have a greater chance of makin it thru??? wat shud i concentrate on in my int ??? will it b more on work ex n less on acad???? pls advice.
