i am also from kolkata and in the mock interview by union , they told management has agreed for total 2500 vacancy of which 1000 are us . remaining 1500 will be filled like 500 every yr for next 3 yr , which means 500 all over india !

i was asking because one of my referee reports was posted yesterday on 26th and the other earlier . i heard that those candidates who have submitted all docs before 21st will get joining on 10th and others on 17th Dec .

RBI chd also finalised formalities today. joining for all 25 candidates will be on 10 December. letters will be posted on 29 Nov as tomorrow is a holiday.
Also as per my talk with union leader, management has agreed for 3000 assistants i.e. 1000 every year.

Guys I wanted to know whether its a confirmed news that more assistants will be recruited in the next 2 years by RBI? If yes, when approximately will the notification for Assistants 2013 be out?

yes its confirmed... i guess notification will be out by march 2013 like last time. they will only start the process next year after this batch has successfully joined.
