went to RBI chd today as they havent recieved my referee reports, which had been sent by my referees a long time back.. so will have to give them again.
talked to mr. banohar singh who is the president of class 3 union in chd. he said there was an all india meeting and it has been decided that joining will be done by December 7 in all the centres. He said 2-3 centres are also trying for December 3.
He said they have asked the bank to let us join before police verification is completed, they will add a clause in appointment letter that our employment is subject to recieving a favourable police verification.
He showed me a letter which is a list of demands by the class 3 union submitted to the management on November 1. It basically had salary increase, accomodation, etc and other issues. He said there will be negotiation with the management starting in February and effect will happen by late 2013 or early 2014. So i dont think salary is going to be increased just as yet.
i was also told that there is ample accomodation in chandigarh and that 25 flats were readied for the 25 joinees. will be available to move in as soon as we complete probation period of 6 months if not earlier.

if you dont take accomodation from RBI then you would get something extra. dont know the amount but i think it could be 1000-2000
