The problem is that i have put down my papers on this Tuesday after completing all the formalities at RBI on Monday and my last working day would be 26 Dec. and it takes at least 15 days to get the relieving letter.
Hope you guys are right, bcoz i'll be getting the relieving letter in the month of Jan. And in most of the organisation you can submit it after the actual joining, i hope it'll be same for RBI too. In any case i'll call them up on Monday to get some more clarity.

@appollo what @trvg said is true, u don't need to submit reliving letter as of now.PS: My referral verification is done, medical also done, police and employer (if they send letter) is left.
what a coincidence. got a phone call today from rbi office. The person said that i have to get relieving letter from my previous employer when i join. I said i had submitted my documents yesterday itself but this had not been told to me. He said RBI did not ask for it earlier but they have just recieved communication that its required from now on. He said there is no hurry and i can give it at the time of joining when i bring my original documents for verification.

as per my chat withthe HR they dont send letter to employer. You still havent got call from police for verification?

They told us that they will send letters to past employers, now i don't know if they will send letters to present employer or not......nope, didn't get a call from police as of now.
As per the info given to us on the day of document submission in Mumbai, the joining will take place in three batches starting from 17 DEC and next one after every week. So how will they decide who'll join in which batch ? OR will they give us an option to choose the desired batch ?
I am asking this bcoz as i have already mentioned, my last working day at my current job is on 27 DEC so i have to join the third batch.
Hi guys I receivd letter from RBI stating salary has been revised from 1st nov 2012 and we are eligible for it and welcoming once again. but no info on date of joining..
