as i said without any cat/mat score u'll not get a gud college. i suggested that institute to him because he is desperate to take admission this yr n he doesnt have any entrance score.

even i would say you should try next year by taking CAT/MAT and other entrance tets scores, till then you can gain some work ex which will also help u in the final placement.

I cleared the CAT cutoff of Lucknow and a few other IIM's but they later rejected me considering my 10th and 12th marks.
So i thought of giving up on IIms.
Can some one guide me if there is ""ANY"" possibility for me to get an IIM call for me. I think I can get above 98% this year.
I have 2 years experience in various areas like IT,media, and trainer. Currently working at TCS MUMBAI.
I'll be really thankful to any mentor who can answer wisely. please give me a logical answer.

see u havent mentioned your 10th 12th marks and if they are good enugh to fetch u an IIM call , then dont think that is the only factor in ur getting an IIM Reject
u seem to have done well in cat , but at 98% ur chances are dependent on 10th 12th score for A I K Ra Rh T ..
still IIM C and ranchi give calls purely on the basis of cat score - so if u score above 99.6-7 with balanced sectionals u can get a call from them for sure
So all you need to do is give your best shot , and if not IIM's there are other very good institutes as well

I have done my education from MP boward of secondary education.
I have 80% in 10th and 73% in 12th.
The profile marks Lucknow gave me for 10th and 12th was 2/20 so i was quite disappointed

yes they are normalized according to boards for I ,K,Ra,Rh but its difficult to say how much is given for your board. in any case i think it wud be difficult for you as per this years criteria for Any Biggie IIM's except C

It depends from college to college
some colleges do not allow people on sabbatical to sit for placement(AFAIK MDI is one of them, though not 100% sure), whereas most colleges do allow .
