IGNOU.
Which one is the best?
I've heard ICFAI is good bt the exams r pretty difficult to clear..
Also do these distance programs provide placement assistance?
Also it wud be great if anyone discuss the fee structure..

Whats gone is gone, the future is still to take shape, just calm down stop blaming urself and jst get things on track. As for MBA, just one tip, are you in for it surely or u jst wanna do it to cover ur past. If you are good then thr is no darth of good colleges, but just prepare hard and go for the kill, be realistic abt thing and u will achieve them.
As for CFA, visit thr website and u will get all the info.

Just one word, start with some self assement which is eaisily available online as well, u can also take up weekend courses for cat preps, which are well suited for wrking professionals.
I have also heard about couple of online courses which can be scheduled as per your convinience, just explore all these options bit

If you are really interested in learning a business, and the business being that of your cousin, you will have some amount of freedom to experiment and understand a lot about business, then take up this opportunity.
Now, if and when you get interview chances for MBA colleges, the knowledge you have regarding a business, since you would have already worked, will be appreciated by the panel and it might count in your favour.

or
2>accenture
will it be a -ive thing to work in IT industry having mechanical background.

Please help me out. I am putting my current scenario below in points alongwith the dilemma i am facing
1. B.E. (CSE, 2009 passout) - 67 % 
2. 10th - 83.xx % , 12th - 82.xx % 
3. Working as IT Security Consultant (MNC) ; Exp - 18 Months till date
Dilemma : Joined company in July 2009.. was in no mood to write CAT 2009 (and did'nt write it finally)a s i had to concentrate on Job... although i didn't put in any extra efforts. but yeah i was sincere.. got promoted twice so far... but not substantial progress in terms of package.. getting avg. package.. Came Jan 2010.. joined TIME Delhi .. and since my focus was totally on CAT (my first attempt).. i didn't focus much on my job.. (viz . did no technical certification for further growth)... and results are
CAT'10 -
OA - 75.xx %ile , VA - 95.xx , QA- 75.xx & DI - 17.xx 
(attempted only 6 Q's due to time mismanagement)
XAT - OA - 90 %ile , VA - 93.xx , QA - 75.xx , DI/LR - 73.xx (missed sectional & OA cut-off by 1.xx %ile) 
FMS - Missed cut-off by miles 
IIFT - got 27 marks 
Now.. family wants me to change job as the company isn't paying handsome amount...but i want to continue in this company (as workload is not much & i get ample time to prepare + good profile)and give CAT '11 and other B-schools exams one more chance.. want to take admission in top 10 B-schools only.. didn't even write SNAP , NMAT last yr.. not filled NITIE, MDI forms.. However.. as i know myself.. as i'll go for CAT'11 (i confess that i had not given my 100 % last yr)... i would ignore my job once again.. no certifications.. no job related training ..wud do nothin.. but then i do not want to be left bewildered like now by the end of this yr again... with no calls and no apraisal @ Job...please suggest me somthing good...

I would suggest you take up the Bank PO job as you are more interested in finance.

I had a work ex of just under one year.Once you really make up your mind, you will manage it. Dont worry, there are so many others who face the same situation.
Prepare hard for CAT. Once you do that, preparation for other exams will be taken care of.
Course curriculum here is similar to other MBA colleges. It is not technical though we have some unique subjects. One can choose electives in the second year.

I am new & hope this is the right place /way to post.......
I need help to decide if i am really eligible (PRACTICALLY) for any b-school....
X - 83 % (2002)
XII -73 % (2004)(bio-maths)
(selected in jec jab,for engineering-didn't take)
(2 yr drop)(average no. of drop in m.p.'s only govt dental college-3) 
PMT-2006 placed 322 among 65,000 students+court case (which i won_but judge just said " this should not happen again with any one")(govt had not shown available seats in 1st councelling _so alloted bds)
since then doing bds 5.5 yr degree
but FAILED SEVERAL TIMES !!! 😞 due to depression et al +financial constraints + court case ..etc passing marks for each subject is 50(theory)+50(practical).... hence my current percentage @ 58 %(upto 3rd yr) (class topper has 63% overall)(m.p. has only one govt dental college in which i'm studying..... i'm the person with the max no. of marks in the admissions test ....GOD where the hell is my life going...
PLEASE HELP ASAP....
any career guidance is also acceptable...

Can someone throw some light on this....My cousin has been placed in Mahindra and Mahindra's ECE Research and development department in a section there called TPDS(technology, product development and sourcing).The position he has been assigned is GET( graduate engineer trainee). He's from ECE only. So should he go ahead and join it coz he's afraid that he might not get many opportunities of growth here. Plz reply if you have any idea related to this particular profile

with a good score i think you would have a fair enough chance of making it to most good colleges.I know people with worse profiles making it to IIMs...and theres nothing inherently wrong with your profile anyway...
Though i think an institute like say Tata institute of Social Sciences(TISS) would suit your profile quite well as they offer programmes in fields like HRM,Labour Relations,Hospital and Health Management,Development Studies etc...
Just my two cents..
