hi all, i m facing a problem in the spjain site... i m trying to login to view my app status...but its not accepting my user/password...says "user already exits..password doesnt match"...is it because they have already sent me the eval call.....???
1. You will receive your SPJAT scores over email mostly by end of this week or early next week 2. Yes, some students would get evaluation calls after the ADmissions Committee reviews their application alongwith their SPJAT scores 3. 75%ile is the cut off for SPJAT
Thanks Shweta
Hi Shweta / Rutty, 1. By when will the SPJAT scores get updated on the website ? 2. Since few folks have already got the Eval calls, should it be assumed that for the rest who havent got the eval calls so far that the adcom is waiting for their spjat scores to take the final decision ? 3. What would be an ideal spjat %tile ?
Excuse me...i have already went throught the website but in forums i saw ppl tryin for MAY and JAN intakes...which is not mentioned in the website....so i put forth my sincere query..instead of typing a so long sentence....if you has answered my question it would have been of much help.....please try to help or else mind your way

Here is a little situation i would like to adress.
I have thoroughly "underperformed" in SPJAT, and have secured a 41 %ile ( i had to gather all my guts to write the above figure) , may it be because of my bad performance, mishap that happened at bangalore center or what so ever be the reason.
I secured 75 %ile in CAT in 2007, which i mentioned in my profile while filling up the form.
I have also got an evaluation call ( based on the profile and CAT score).
My profile is nothing out of the world. Its just a good above average profile.
Should i be really attending the evaluation? In other words. Am i really worth it ? ( I know i should be asking this to myself)
OR
If there is a good enough weightage of SPJAT \ CAT scores on the total Evaluation procedure, then, i reckon, there is no use attending the Evaluation. It might furhther lower down my confidence.
For the same evaluation schedule, does SPJCM give another chance (another aptitude test or something) on the evaluation day itself, to improve the score and then go for the next rounds on that day?
This might seem to be a rhetoric, but for me, my strengths are my presentation and communication skills, and my self confidence. (SPJAT is already messed up.)
Can i pull the evaluation through an excellent performance in the GD \ interview etc. ?
Please give me my much needed advise. I cant think of anything regarding this!

maybe shweta can enlighten us regarding the weightage of the CAT/SPJAT score in the interview call as well final call...
Good point aggarwalp even i am sailing in d same boat
what if the score we have reported in the original app is below the cut off mentioned in the website, plus we sort of screwed up the spjat test too, can we still expect a call for the eval rounds based on our original reported score, provided that score was sort of near the mentioend cut off, or is it curtains for such candidates and if it is indeed curtains, by when will we get the much regretted "reject" email, so that we may start focussing on bettering our scores to apply for the next intake
Shweta/Rutty - cud u plz enlighten the depressed/confused souls thanx in advance
Could you please let me know when would the aptitude test be conducted for May-2009 intake ,as i could not find it on website .i am giving my GMAT in 1st week of january ,so would it good to wait for GMAT & then apply or sit for an aptitude..Please advice.
Well it would definitely be worth your while if you went through the evaluations. We would not have shortlisted you if we dint find you suitable.
I cannot give you an exact weightage for the APT scores but I can tel lyou that your performance at the evaluations will matter more than just your APT score as we look at well rounded personalities and look at the overall profile of a candidate
Thanks Shweta

THE APT score is NOT the only thing that we look at - we are interested in the entire package hence all factors will be taken into consideration before taking a decision on selection of a candidate. Hope this sorts your doubts
