@Joey_Sharma No..option 3
@maroof10 said:The entrance ticket costs Rs 250.When the price of the ticket was lowered,sale of the ticket increased by 50% while collection recorded a decrease of 17.5% Find the deduction in the price1> 150 2> 105 3> 112.5 4> 110
Case 1 : Collection (c) = 250 x S where S= sales
Case 2 : Collection (c1) = 250 (y)/100 x 1.5 S
Now C1 = 82.5 C
Solving we get y = 55
Now revise price = 250 x 55/100 = 137.5 Rs
Therefore deduction = 250-137.5 = 112.5 Rs hence Option 3....

@jashholmes
t=total age of all , A =avg, and n numbr of people
T/n=A
(T-36)/n=A-3
or we get n=12
now (T+8)/n+1=A +/- change
12A + 8= 13A +/-13change
8=A +/-13 change
or (+/-)change=(A-8)/13
without A calculate nhi ho sakta h na..so, no solution.
people who are getting 8/13 kindly explain... also correct me if i m doing it wrong. :)

c,d.
1. 3660(passed in geo)-1430(passed in all subj)=2230
2.people who passed in 3 subjects = 2630-1430=1200
and people who failed in 2 or more.. total - (passed in 3+passed in all)

Option c and d
Approach :
passed in 3 and 4 subjects = 2630
passed in all 4 = 1430
so those passed in any 3 subjects = 2630 -1230 = 1200
Now passed in geography but failed in others = passed in geography - (passed in all 4) =3660 - 1430 = 2230
failed in two or more = total students - (passed in atleast 3)= 6300 -2630 = 3770
Tag me in the OA..

That is for the second question. He asked about my reasoning for the first question...since we had different answers for that.
Second one we both had agreed on 3/7 already!
