A diff of 36 years induced a diff of 3 years in Avg. Hence, there must have been 36/3=12 people in the original group. After replacing 56 with 2 persons of 32 each, a diff of 8 is induced.Hence, change = 8/13 in Avg
Assume Sum of ages S=96 Initially
N=12
A=8
When 56 year old is replaced by 20 year
S=60
N=12
A=5 (Decreased by 3)
when 56 year old is replaced by 2 people of 32 year old
S=104
N=13
A=8
It remained same so Change u have mentioned is wrong
and it is (12A+8)/13=(96+8)/13=8

" Remove all the cards except aces and kings from a deck. From this, deal two cards to a friend. If she looks at her cards and announces (truthfully) that her hand contains an ace, what is the probability that both her cards are aces? If she announces instead that one of her cards is the ace of spades, what is the probability then that both her cards are aces? "
OA 1)3/11

A=S/N
A-3=(S-36)/N =) N=12
(S+8)/(N+1)=(12A+8)/13

Option 3. 112.5

normal sales | new
X | 1.5X

250 X | (250 - a) X

(250 - a)X = 0.825(250 X). ( as it is given that 17.5% decrease)

Solve for a. It'll be option 3.!

let no. of tickets be n
revenue be y
let x be reduction in price

250*n = y....i
(250 - x)(1.5*n) = .825*y....ii

put value of y from i in ii

(250 - x)(1.5*n) = .825*(250*n)
x = 112.5 ?
@maroof10 is it 2)105 ?
