@krum can you solve this?In order to buy a car a man borrowed 180000 on the condition that he had to pay 7.5% interest every year. He also agree to repay the principal in equal annual installments over 21 years . After a certain no of years however the rate of interest has been reduced to 7%. It is also known that at the end of the agreed period, he will have paid in all rs 270900 in interest.For how many years does he pay at the reduced interest?
Not possible.....
At flat 7.5%, the EMi comes out to be 17285
So total amt. paid=17,285*21=362991
So Interest paid=362991-180000=182991

But it is given that he paid interest of Rs. 270900....
??????????

(1,inf)
OA is (-inf, -1)

@raopradeep said:
find the complete range of x for which (x^2+x+1)^2x (-inf,0)(0, inf)(1 ,inf)(-inf ,-1)
This is not valid for 0,1,2
So option (b) (c) are out
But (d) is present in (a) also
So with no furter thought, (d) is the answer

is there any conventional method besides checking by options

(-inf,-1)
tell the method to solve it
@raopradeep said:

There are lots of conventional method in functions
but many questions go good by options which is often also needed in CAT
Hope that helps

x is a set of 3 digit divisors which give same remainder when it divides 2 numbers 12714 and 13914.what is the maximum possible number of elements in x
it should be the number of 3 digit factors of the difference of two numbers...
13914 - 12714 = 1200
100,120,150,200,240,480,600.... 7 numbers?? sorry if i missed any

@vbhvgupta bhai, ye kahan se uthaya hai question ???

@raopradeep said:
tell the method to solve it
Same conventional approach is better because if u want to solve this u will have to put more time!!! time effectiveness matters..
@raopradeep said:
what is the difference between the largest and smallest integer that satisfies the inequality|12/(x-15)|>54362
| 12 / (x-15) | >5
=> | 1/(x-15) | > 5/12
=> | x - 15 | => -12/5 => 15-12/5 => 12.6 SO max value = 17 and min value = 13
So 4 is the difference
