In order to buy a car a man borrowed 180000 on the condition that he had to pay 7.5% interest every year. He also agree to repay the principal in equal annual installments over 21 years . After a certain no of years however the rate of interest has been reduced to 7%. It is also known that at the end of the agreed period, he will have paid in all rs 270900 in interest.For how many years does he pay at the reduced interest?

@pratskool : whats should be the answer???

We have 15000 + P(1+8.2/100) = 28920
=> P = 12000
hence 12k+15k = 27000

28920-15000= 13920

13920 = p+p*8*2/100
=> p+4/25p = 13920
=> p= 13920*25/29 = 12000

27000

Let x be the remaining amount

28,920 = x( 1 + 8 * 2 / 100 ) + 15000

x = 12000.

Original price = 12000 + 15000 = 27000
@krum can you solve this?

100SP-100Cp=75Cp
=>SP/CP = 7/4
Profit % = (7-4)/4 = 75%

In a network there are 20 cities with every city being connected with every other city by distinct routes. How many paths exist from city 3 to city 17, each of which passes through exactly 7 cities including cities 5,8,12 but excluding cities 7 and 9?

find the complete range of x for which (x^2+x+1)^2x

(-inf,0)
(0, inf)
(1 ,inf)

We can to choose the remaining 4 cities from 13 cities so 13C4 ways. Now the 7 cities can be arranged in 7! ways
So 7!.13C4

is it
(15c4-13c2)*7!
1287*7!

ways in which 5,8,12 will always be included 15c4
ways in which 5,8,12 and 7,9 also included 13c2
aranging the way to go to these cities 7!
