If square of Ram €™s expenditure is inversely proportional to square of his salary and when hisExpenditure=20000 his salary = 40000. Find his expenditure when salary = 80000a) 10000 b) 30000 c) 60000 d) 20000 e) 40000
a) 10000 ?

E^2 * S^2 = constant
20000^2 * 40000^2 = x^2 * 80000^2
x^2 = (64 * 10^16)/(64 * 10^8)
x = 10^4 = 10000
@audiq7 brother number is 1027 because only 7,37,67,97,127............keep on satisfying this condition
now
997=127+(n-1)30
n=30
30*3=90
now 7 from 1 digit n two digit numbers
now 99 digit e need
so next number 1027 and answere aya 0
n hip hip hurray
X,Y and Z start a venture together.Y and Z invests Rs. 4000 and Rs. 3000 respectively while X invests Rs. 1000 initially and after 6 months withdraws his capital and decides to work as a working partner with 30% stake in the profits.if X gets Rs. 800 at the end of the year ,what was the profit.

N is a natural number which gives remainders 1 and 2 when divided by 6 and 5, respectively. All such N €™s are written in the ascending order, side by side from left to right. What is the 99th digit from the left?(a) 2 (b) 0 (c) 1 (d) 7

7,3,67..
1+(3*2)+(30*3)=97 digits
99th digit will fall in the least 4 digit possible value of N
1027

@Cat.Aspirant123 bhai direct option based question
dekh woh 7 baje chala aur dusra 8 baje
ab 7 baje wala chala 5 kn/hr ki speed se to
option mein dekh pahle
9 baje tak he would have covered 10km and other started at 8 so he would have covered 6 km and
10+6=16km and thats what the distance is given toh hogaya :P

@soham2208 It was for practiceAlby, Benny, Cindy and Dan houses forms a square field ABCD. A cow, in a square field, is 13 meters from Benny's house, 17 meters from Dan's house, and 20 meters from Cindy's house. Find the area of the field. Assume house to be a point object and field to be flat.
17^2-y^2=20^2-(a-y)^2---1
20^2-x^2=13^2-(a-x)^2----2
x^2+y^2=17^2
x=15,y=8

From 1 and 2
(a-y)^2-y^2=111
x^2-(a-x)^2=231

2a(x-y)=342
2a(7)=342
a=171/7

Area=171^2/7^2

for last 6 months , Y and Z invest 7000 and take 70% of profit, so A invested 3000 for last 6 months

so investment ratio - (1000*6+3000*6) : (4000*12) : (3000*12) - 2:4:3

=> 2/9 P = 800
=> P = 3600

For the last 6 months if total profit is 100x its
X:Y:Z::30:40:30
For the 1st 6 months
X:Y:Z::10:40:30
Total profit is 180x
Hence total profit of X is
40x=800
x=180*800/40=3600

how can u take x=15 and y=8.. it is not given that sides r integers.. moreover wd x=15,y=8 other sides get negative value.. if u want i can prove that.

100 Rs
Total work 120 units
p+q=12
q+r=10
Qs share=140/300=7/15
p=5
Ps share=5*300/15=100

the four eqns were

a^2+c^2=58,
a^2+b^2=169,
b^2+d^2=400 ,
d^2+c^2=289

here 'c' and 'd' are 'x' and 'y' acc to u..

if c=15 or 8 then a gets negative value.

refer to attachment in this reply to c how i get those eqns.
