OA is -(cos C + cos D)
as AB is || to CD then A + D = 180 and B + C = 180 applying cos both sides
cos A = cos (180-D)
= - cos D
cos B = cos (180-C)
= - cos C
So cos A + cos B = -(cos C + cos D)
