@mailtoankit ji han its given as CBD , but let us know the approach.
let runs scored by Australia be = x
india scores x runs in 30 overs---> run rate = x/30
now acc. to question...
133.33/100*x/30 = x/20......so CBD
@zuloo If you plot the graph for the given equation of circle ...center @ (1,-2) with radius as 2sqrt6, and you need to get the largest value for y/x

Any point on the circle on the 2nd and 4th quadrant will give you a negative value (y/x wont be max plus maximum you can get if y is having the max value)
Possible case rests in 1st quadrant only where y is at its max ...ie

when y=-2 + radius(ie 2sqrt6)
and x =1

That will give the y/x ka max value as 2(sqrt6-1)

P.S- Not sure if the explanation helps you

let d run rate before bea therefore total runs = 30a , now wenais increased by 33.33%a becomes 4/3a now20*4/3a = 30 * a=>8=9 kya galat kar raha hoon sir @ScareCrow28
Kuch galat ni karre except the bold part 😛
We can't find any solution

can anyone tell me the shortcut to the following Q: x^2+y^2-2x+4y-19=0 find the largest value of y/x.
Cannot be determined ( at least with the given info )

sir ye condition hi possible nahi hai iska matlab to.....nahi?
Dekho poossible ho ya nahi, hum nikal ni sakte itni information se.. may be possible may not be..usko prove karne k lie b aur info chahiye
@ScareCrow28 sir ji i just noticed that i mentioned the question wrongly. Its actually 20% less overs instead of 20 overs absolute value . So that means its 40 overs right?. But the answer as per the book is CBD. But i was wondering if we solve through options we arrive at 250 as the answer. Correct me if am wrong. Pardon me for the mistake everyone.

Bhaiya jee.. sir mat bolo
See, the options also have a CBD in it, that's why the answer should be CBD
If the question would have been choose from the options below and there were no CBD then you could have marked 250. Hope you get the point

no sir not possible hogi dekho iske liye aur info ki zaroorat nahi dekho main bhale kitni bhi runrate se khel raha hoon par agar 30 over ka score 20 over mein banvana hai to hume RR 50% se badhani padegi30*a = 20*3a/2=>6=6???watsay?
Ye acha hai!

What is the smallest positive common difference of a 6-term arithmetic progression consisting entirely of (positive) prime numbers?
6 ?
d = 6k aya kisi tarah May be totally wrong somewhere

Don't know how to proceed in any direction in this question..

primes are of the form 6k+/-1 so it has to be 6, i am not working on getting the series though...
@gautam22 said:
sir how can u b so sure? dat d difference of 6,12,18,24,30 with d first will all result in a prime number .......kuch samajh ni aaya sir
bhai han wohi....it actually would be of 6k form (that we can be sure of) but since the options weren't available so i said 6.....but 6k hoga.......baaki samajh nahi aa raha kaise hoga..

it could be a multiple of 6 as well....
u cant be sure...

we might have to find the series i guess

From 40 litres of 2:3 Milk Water Solution , 8 litres are withdrawn and replaced by 8 litres of milk. What is the minimum number of times the operation has to be carried out of withdrawing and replacing so that the milk concentration is atleast 60 %.

answer has to be in form of 6k

so by hit and trial we will get series as , 7 37 67 97 127 157

In a chess tounament everybody plays everybody else.Everyone scored the same number of points, except four players whose total score were 17.5.Which of the following can be the number of players participating in the tourmanent. Assume that for each win a player scores 1 point , for draw 1/2 point and zero for losing.a. 27 b. 29c. 31d. 42
total points n(n-1)/2
points scored (n-4)x+17.5
making these two equal n comes as 27 x as 14.5

@maroof10 Can you please share the approach Or you just calculated roughly ?

water = 24

24*[(24 - 24/5)/24]^n =
=> n = 2

A car goes 20 miles on a gallon of gas driving at 60 miles/hr.If the car is driven at 75 miles/hr it goes as far as 70%.How many gallons of gas will be required to travel at 210 miles/hr for the same distance?

24(1-1/5)^n
n=2
