In each question below are given two or three statements followed by two conclusions numbered I and II. You have to take the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the statements, disregarding commonly known facts. Give answer

A. If only conclusion I follows.

B. If only conclusion II follows.

C. If either I or II follows.

D. If neither I nor II follows.

E. If both I and II follow.

Statements

: Some trees are horses. Some ships are trees.

Conclusions

I. Some horses are ships.

II. Some trees are neither ships nor horses.

I know this is not a right thread.....But i want to ask that you guys use calculator in mocks or not?

what does " percentage points" mean?

how many distinct rectangles with integral sides(in cm) and a perimeter is less than or equal to 150 are possible? @sagarcat @Going_High

if (1+x+x^2)^15=a0+a1*x+a2*x^2....a7*x^75, then how for many values of i(0to75) is ai not equal to zero?

what is area enclosed by the graph |x|+|y|-x-y=12 and |x|+|y|+x+y-12=0?

a square room has hook on the ceiling exactly at the center P. if AB is one of the sides of the floor, angle APB =60 and AB= 6cm, what is height of room in cm?

there are 3 solutions of an acid- A,B and C of different concentrations and volumes. if the concentration of A in percentage points is an integer, that of B is 5 percentage points greater than that of A,while that B and C lies between 60 and 80. If A and B are mixed, the resultant concentration would be 25%, whereas of A and C,if equal to that of B. if total volume of A and B is 15 liters, and volume of C is 1 liter, find the volume of B?

Dumb as always: Please help me realize my folly in the following:         How many 5 - digit numbers exist with exactly two 4's in it ?                                                                                                                     My Approach:   ( 1 x  4C1  x  9  x  9  x   9 )    +  ( 8  x  4C2  x  9  x  9) = 3888.
