Hi All Do IIMs and other govt B-school ask for income certificate or income proof too along with valid Nc -obc certificate . If yes do they provide time for the same as I'm having valid recent nc obc certificate (which I uploaded) but not income certificate .

I have my NC-OBC certificate but it is dated 28th Oct 2019. So as per the validity of 1 year, I have to renew it now, but the bureaucrats working in Tehsil office are again creating the same problem which they did last time, by telling me that my father's income is more than 8 LPA, even though my father is a class 3 Govt servant so we are eligible to avail the reservation for the NC OBC category. What to do now? My application is pending for more than a month now. And the interviews would be starting soon. They are either not aware of the Act Or doing it to extract money, my father rarely get time in between his railway job and I'm also stuck in my job so not able to visit the Tehsil office daily. What to do?
