sorry to post the same querry again bt cudnt help since i m getting anxious after geting no reply....:dontgeti: pl dont dissapoin me this time:oops: frnds one urgent clarification needed, pl help as i m having my draft with me bt it is payable at central branch of Mumbai with branch code7690 i put up in jhansi and SBI people r saying tht they have been instructed to make draft payable at central branch in case of Metros... so inspite of mentioning the Vihar lake branch code icoudnt get draft payable at there.. i hope it will not cause any problem otherwise ill b in a big fix bcozihavalready deposited 1.42L in IMI. pls reply ASAP.. seniors plz help
Hi siddhartha, That wont be a prob. DD payable at any branch of mumbai will work. You need not get it for vihar lake branch. Stay calm you are IN now. Anyways, you can always call admission section and confirm your DD receipt as well as your status. ATB. will catch you in NITIE.

no worries dude .............its just the case taht sbi has a branch at vihar lake but if u had made it at some other bank say Central BAnk of india in my case .............they dont have a branch at Vihar lake ............the draft has to be payable at Mumbai thts it .............they have confirmed reciept of my draft and everything is fine so just chill and post yr draft and follow up at admissions for further queries

hello everyone, srry for joining in late, i have been waitlisted at no. 58 , but haven't got the offer letter yet, have some doubts, please help me out with them :
1 ) in whose favour should the draft be drawn ? and to whom should it be mailed ?
2 ) i haven't got my degree and would not be getting it till the date of joining ( in case i get an admit ) so what all documents should i produce at the time of admission ?
I am having a bond till july end at the place where i am working. Although i am trying my level best to get a WorkEx certificate. But i want to ask if i will not be able to take my WorkEx certificate will my Joining letter and payslips be enough to prove my work experience.
Note: I also have a Confirmation Certificate which my company provides after completion of 1 year in Service. So that means 1 year of WorkEx can be proved with that certificate.
Plz if someone can comment? Is there any similiar case happened last year or before that?

DD of Rs. 1,30,500/- in favour of NITIE-Mumbai, Payable at Mumbai. It can be payable at any bank in any branch but it should be payable at Mumbai only. It is to be sent to the same address where you sent your earlier communications. You can refer to the brochure for this. 2. Your Name, NITIE Appl. No., Course Name(PGDIM) and Your Direct Contact Number to appear at the back of the DD. Take a xerox of the DD before you send it. Don't wait for the offer letter to reach you. If your name is there in the list then send your DD. 3. Those who are working, should inform their HR in advance that they might have to end up their services abruptly. Just be polite, and tell them that you are not switching company... rather you are going for higher studies. Normally, HRs do consider these requests with more compassion. 4. All of you be in the standby mode with the tickets of 17th/18th ready. I am sure all of you would get the good news on 17th... 5. Regd. docs to be carried... following is the list: - Your Original College Marksheets and Degree Certs. - Your DoB proof (Your 10th/12th Class Certificates) - Your Char. Cert. in case you have not submitted - Your Work Ex and Reliving Cert. if applicable - Filled in annexures incase you have recvd. the final offer letter - Your Caste Certificates (SC/ST/OBC/PH) if applicable - Your Non Creamy Layer Certificates if belonging to OBC non creamy layer - Few copies (approx 10) of your colour passport size photograph (in formals) 6. now NITIE has come up with one more list for OBC candidates.. sort of wl for OBC candidates... i've wl number 4.. @Koolbuddy: what are my chances dude???? its really important for me to know this, cuz i've got to join SIBM bangalore on 16th of this month and thats the last date for payment of fee @ NITIE.... If i've chances of converting NITIE call then i'll cancel my SIBM seat, cuz if i cancel it after 16th i stand to lose 1.10 Lac...... please understand my anxiety and help..

Hi dude, you are also in same position as mine.... I have also send DD through Speed post on thursday...but it hasnot reached NITIE office. I have enquired local Post office and Speed Post center, they told me that it has reached NITIE post office. I enquired the NITIE post office it seems they are busy right now.. so u can call them at 022-28575907 after 2pm today... Keep posting your updates..
arre duniya itni age bad chuki hai aap log abhi bhi registered post kyo use karte ho ............blue dart , dhl, dtdc kisliye bane hai ................my draft reached in 1 day and courier track bhi aram se kar sakte the ..............anyways nxt time i hope u guys keep this in mind ..........waise it does nt matter to whom u have addressed the dd ...........it will reach admissions for sure ...............just keep following it up over the phone ................

if u have got the offer leter can u plz elaborate like wat all documents are essential and i heard about a doctor's certificate which is mandatory ...........can u plz tell me wat format has to be followed for it .........
