gt a letter by post stating the receipt of the DD i sent and it also had a few info regarding things to bring like pillow covers, mosquito net etc

The letter also says that "We are in receipt of your DD no. so-and-so. The Stamped receipt for the same will be given to you in person."

Also, please bring all the movies, sitcoms, music etc that you currently own.

If the certificate mentions about something like "The Character is Good" or "Good Moral Conduct" then it should do... The certificate should be either from your company or the place from where you did your graduation.

This is a very common case... and it happens in many a colleges that at some point in time the Whole WL is cleared and after that no further WL is declared because either the classes have started or the seats are filled or the college does not want to lower the quality.


This is the doubt on the kind of profiles offered in NITIE....
what kind of profile can be expected for a software engineer with 3 years of IT experience in FMCG...

will they offer SCM/operations profile for this kind of experience...

With relevance to your background, you can get profiles like Consumer Business Development (We call it CBD) and Product Supply (PS) apart from the so many profiles of SCM/Operations which I have already mentioned in this thread somewhere... :)

You can definitely get accommodation for your dad, depending upon the availability of the rooms...

All of you will be getting a recipt of the fee you have paid. This can be used for availing loan facility (Reimbursements) in case you wish to go for the same.

Bikes are not allowed from this year onwards... However you can definitely use bicycles if you wish so...

People have taken connections from all the major service providers. Though Vodafone/Airtel lead the pack... ppl have connections of Reliance, MTNL, Tata Indicom as well...

i had a talk with NITIE personnel today regarding refund....he asked my name and then said that my refund has been processed and i ll be getting the refund (total amount - 1000/-) in next 15-20 days ..... by a cheque...:whatthat:

i had sent my application on 4th may which reached NITIE on 7th....
