Regd this you need to talk to the admissions. There are a lot of things planned in the 1st week like: Orientation, Grooove, BudWiser and TOPA Night.

Apart from this the Laptop Deal and Loan Processing also is scheduled to take off once the junta arrives on the campus on 18th-19th...

I would advise you to try and prepone your releasing date and be on the campus as soon as possible.


Some General Instructions to all the Wait Listed Candidates:

While Submitting the DD, make sure you have written the following at the back of the DD:
1. Your name
2. Your NITIE Application Number
3. Your Course: PGDIM
4. Your Direct Contact Number

Before you send a DD, take a xerox and keep it with you.

Nitin,

You would need to make just 1 DD for 1,30,500 in favour of NITIE,Mumbai. It does need to be a locally payable DD so you could send it through post as well. Also do make sure that you do mention the following set of information on the reverse of the DD:

1.Your Name
2.Your CAT TR No.
3.Your NITIE application number
4.The name of the course (PGDIM or whatever)

ofcourse not, if this was the case then there wouldn't be need of any waitlists at first place.
there would be many ppl even in this list with IIM A,B,C ,,,,etc converts so ppl all of u have a gud chance to convert this one. Just put in ur DDs and keep your fingers crossed

I had given up al hopes of a 3rd waitlist, but today i just "happened" to casually go thru the NITIE website today and there i cud see my name sitting comfortably in the 3rd list.

But, I am a lil confused between IMT G Fin and NITIE PGDIM.

i hv a query regarding the sbi bank in NITIE.. whats the branch code?is it the vihar lake sbi? is it mandatory tat we need to transfer our account homebranch to nitie branch for withdrawing money using withdrawal slips as i heard that the nearest ATM is a little far awayyy...

Hello Nitin,

1. Only one DD, Rs. 1,30,500 /- favoring NITIE-Mumbai, Payable at Mumbai.
2. Carry the following documents:
- 10th and 12th Class Mark sheet for DoB
- All your Engg. Marksheet (Semester wise)
- Your Engg. Degree Certificate
- Your Character Certificate
- If Working, then Your Work Ex Certificate
- If Working, then Your Relieving Certificate
- All the annexures along with the medical one, which you have to get
filled by a doctor (Preferably Govt.)
- Your Caste Certificates/OBC Certificates/Non-Creamy Layer Certificates
in case you fall into any of these categories.

This is an indicative list and not exhaustive. You can refer to the final call letter for the set of documents. If some one has already got it, (s)he can upload a scanned copy of the same here.

Hey Dhiraj,

1. Its branch code is 9055.
2. Yes, its the Vihar Lake SBI.
3. If the branch where you have your account is a core banking branch, then you need not transfer your account here. You can directly access your account from here. But, if your branch is not core-banking and you don't want to travel to the nearest SBI ATM, then in that case you will have to open a new account here.

ll that create a major problem .

but i have read in this thread that we hav to report on 19th ?????????
is the date preponed or some thing else ( like stdent activities ).

with waitlist 23 in this last list of 79 should i consider myself safe .............i have to withdraw frm imt...............i called up NITIE admissions they asked me to send the draft ..(they even said unofficially though that i should get an admission )........as far as last yr's movement goes i all waitlists got cleared.........................plz reply should i go ahead and withdraw i cant wait till 16th else i wont get the full refund ............i am really tensed plz help
