Paper pattern for mains nabard

PAPER -1 --English--100 marks

1.ESSAY --40 MARKS

2.precis writing -20 marks

3.comprehension-- 20 marks 

4.letter/writing -20 marks

PAPER-2 -- economic & social issues 

1. 5 questions *each carry 20 marks ---100 marks

Guys How many candidates have applied for nabard? At least give a rough figure

frnds i analysed n got this conclusion.(evryone is free to ignore following)      

 1. questions are basic in nature bt needs to cover all topics.                            

2. hardly 20 days left so focus on ncert books(11th n 12th)  n 1 single book ramesh singh                               

 3. cover last 3-4 mnths editorial page of the hindu (focus shud be econmics part)

4. last bt not least IMPROVE UR HANDWRITING.

any suggestions?..add in cmmnts it will b helpfull to all.

can anyone plz tell me that in nabard phase 2 for assistant manager rdbs we only have to give 2 papers one for english and other for economics and for manager post we have to give 3 papers english economics and finance management.. isnt it?????

Hello Puys. One of my friends called the NABARD HR office. They told him to mail a request to [email protected] If they get enough mails, they MAY think of postponing the exam. Lets give it a try.

guys i have few questions in my mind

1. is paper 2 of main exam like essay writing and how many words should we write?

2.main exam is in offline or online mode?

3.plz suggest me a good book for essay precis comperhension

4 after reading paper 2 syllabus throughly i failed to understand where to start from pls suggest someting thanks in advance

Guys any idea about the report writing?

Whether report writing will come as it came in the RBI paper or letter writing will come ?

HAS ANY ONE GOT SMS OR EMAIL ABOUT GETTING SHORTLISTED FOR PHASE 2 FROM NABARD

No hopes of exams getting postponed right? 
Shit happens. 

Some statistics to help you understand the competition better: 5715 candidates shortlisted for RDBS GrA; 307 for Gr B; and 268 candidates are common to both these lists. Total advertised vacancies are 100 for GrA (RDBS) and 6 for GrB.

Almost every book/website is having his/her own letter format , can anyone prescribe a proper official letter format ?

Its more than 5600 and not 4000 ( = 160(page 1) + 26*8*26 (page 2-27) )according to the result pdf) candidates appearing for grade A mains and vacancies are 100. Its a heck of a competition in NABARD grade A ! 56:1 is the ratio.. even upsc cse has 16:1 ratio for mains candidates to the total number of vacancies !

Any reccomended books for NABARD phase 2, Eco and social issues paper!! URGENT!!!!

i hve one doubt the syllbus clearly mentions the subtopic under the topics. eg.

Inflation - Trends in Inflation & their Impact on National Economy and Individual Income.

so sticking to syllbus means only learning these topics or we have to read other aspects of inflation too as like meausre of inflation,role of rbi to curb inflation etc..? bkoz these also comes under inflation bt syllbus mentions only
