Trapped in a serious dilemma........ PO in banking sector or AO in insurance sector. Which one to chose and please putforth the pros and cons of both the jobs. Thanks.
A silly question (rather serious for me), which am sure would be haunting most of the POs/confirmed officers bored with their jobs..
What are the options for us after being officers of a PSB for like 2 years (thats when probation period ends for most banks).
Let's contribute our ideas. In my view, I have the only option 😞
1. Go back to IT sector as a Business Analyst (having domain knowledge in banking sector as all major IT firms have banking projects and would definitely need domain subject matter experts).
hey puys... is it poss to study for upsc while working as a PO?? I have to join this coming month... but i dont want regret not being able to put enough effort into upsc after joining as a PO!!
If i let go off PO... do u puys think im losing a good opportunity ??
Hi Puys, I would like to know how are the specialised verticals of Credit, Risk, HR and Marketing in PSBs in terms of career growth, work life etc? How is it compared to General Banking?
Do these specialised verticals offer more scope to move into private sector than general banking after a some years of experiences? And does this scope vary from one PSB to another?
i am working in SBI as PO since 5 years. Want to know is writing RBI Grade B better? as I will be joining afresh after at least 6 years of experience. I don't get much time for studies, so cant plan for upsc prep. Please advise. Anybody from RBI, please share your experiences.
Currently i am working in IT company where EPF is there and banks have NPS. So how to transfer money from epf to nps? Anyone who switched from IT sector to banking please suggest...
Can anyone help me with this query.... I am a post graduate in english, and am preparing for bank PO jobs... What is bothering me is even though I had a science background in 11-12, I have been in arts for the past 5 yrs.. Will that matter. And is there any course that I can take to boost my chances in the interview, like FInancial accounting or finance etc etc from any university or computer training centre?? Thank you in advance...
is there any way through which a bank PO can get a faster growth, for example any sort of certification (e.g. FRM...etc) or internal exams??? I want to know this because I don't want to get struck in the slow process promotions.
Hey guys, Advise me. What should I join Bank PO through IBPS or Non interview post through SSC CGL? Do we have to sign a bond in bank as a PO? Cuz I hv joining as a PO probably in jan 2015 and I don't know anything abt SSC CGL yet. but itt ll be after 2015 only.
