sir, i am in dilemma. My work conditions that being of a field, its quite difficult to concentrate on my studies. I have the choice of going for NM or opting out and giving gmat again for colleges like ISB/NUS/NANYANG/MBS/AGSM.
if i choose NM, then operations which is basically the field i would want, will not help me much coz of NM's placement scenario in OPS. it will be really difficult for me to get a good paying job. whereas the alternative of waiting and giving gmat is frought with assumptions that i can get a 700+ score and then even if i did, i would end up in any of the mentioned colleges. if i dont then i will not have moved anywhere for the next two years of my life and i will be left with no options but to continue with my job which i dont want at all. kindly guide me through.
Hi,
I am a CA with a GMAT score of 670 and work ex of 3 years (to date) with PepsiCo (also a 3-year articleship stint with Deloitte). I took up PepsiCo since it were offering me a Plant role, which I felt would be a nice place to start my career with. After all Plant roles are generally considered critical. My rating has been the highest in the Finance function this year (this should probably earn me a good recommendation).
I take up training programmes at Plant for on various academic and professional subjects.
I was a university level debate & quiz competitions winner. I haven't been affiliated to any social causes (for except being a law abiding citizen..lol!).
I am ONLY targeting ISB for its 1-year programme.
What can I do now to improve my chances of getting into ISB in 2016?
Thanks.
Bharat.
