What will be the tentative dates for PI of shortlisted candidates for R1 and R2 respectively based on last year trends ??
I was asked by an applicant if he can copy paste stuff from net , for similar profiles and personalize it a little.
I thought the answer to this would be relevant for all the applicant.
Answer: You will end up shooting yourself on the foot as ISB has multiple tieups with applications/ sites to catch hold of any such cases (for example: turnitin etc ) . DOnt even think of such things as these apps are super efficient. Honesty and Integrity are most important virtue at ISB.
Hi, is it alright to quote names of alum in the essay i may have recd feedback of ISB from?
I am having a couple of technical difficulties in completing the online form for PGPM round 1 for the batch of 2017.
1. I have uploaded all mandatorily required documents, but the status in the Application Inspector does not change to 'Complete'.
2. I have opted out of the scholarship (see screen shots below), but the status for Scholarship Essay shows 'Incomplete'.
The admission team has asked me to disregard it and go ahead. I am not sure. I have tried IE and Chrome, both. But in vain.
Is someone else also facing such an issue?
Please guide.

Work experience - 43 months in business analytics as on 31s March 2016. Primarily worked on fraud detection, campaign effectiveness studies, increasing customer engagement for one of the largest retailers. These projects had good impact on the business. I have led teams, have been solely responsible for teams' performance and delivery to the client.
I have worked in 2 companies and have an award from both in the form of a spot award and a value in action award.
Graduation - Electrical and Electronics Engineer (8.5 CGPA) from Manipal Institute of Technology. Used to be in the organizing committee for the cultural fest of the college and in a team of 3, won a paper presentation competition in the tech fest of the college.

10th - 92.8%

Hello, In the application i'm required to provide "a proof of income for self". I'm currently dependent on my parents. What should I upload in this case? Also, the application fee is 5000/- ( a lot compared to most colleges), is this refundable? Thanks.

There are too many Extra Curricular activities. Essays are not a problem.
But I am struggling between GMAT and Office. In mocks I am getting between 600 to 640. I am planning for R2.
How much GMAT will suffice to my profile.

Hope your GMAT, recos, essays everything is almost sorted and you are just giving final touch to your apps (even if not, dont worry...m sure you'll be able to finish it on time)!
Those who are done with it, please don't wait for the last minute chaos, just submit it! (Lot of people have been asking me if they should wait for deadline..for xyz reasons)!

On the official site, offer date is mentioned as March 5, 2016 and the orientation commences on April 17, 2016. Most of the companies have two months notice period with no buyout option.. So is the R2 admission a rolling process for interviews and selection? Or the selected candidates list is announced on a given particular date?
1. I gave GMAT yesterday and have got a print out of my unofficial score report. But the report consists names of other universities as well for which I have requested GmAC to send scores. Is it ok if I scan the score report as it is which includes names of other universities and attach it in ISB application or should I scan only half page and omit the names of universities from my scanned report?

I been actively involved during extra-curricular activities during school and college level. Also, in office have involved in organizational activities
This is my first attempt at ISB & plan to apply for R2.
I have 3 questions:
(1) Where do I stand in terms of my profile?
(2) Do extracurricular activities hold any ground on today's date from the POV of an ISB application?
(3) I had planned for early exam for GMAT (in fact on 22nd Oct), but my preparation is very half-baked and might only end up 640-650. So what chance do I stand or should I postpone my exam to later date by a month making my preparation better.

Though this is a 2017 aspirants thread, but trying this time will not be possible as I have started preparing for GMAT.
What would be a approximate GMAT score to think of ISB next batch.
Class X - 79%
Class XII- 63 %
Enginerring - 69% (Mumbai University in Computers)
5+ years of experience (as of now) in US based IT company. (3 promotions)
Not much to show in extra curricula's.
