Could someone please elaborate on the concept of "Deferred admissions" at ISB? Who could be eligible to receive such an offer and what are the general guidelines for the same? Thanks!
Class X = 78.80 Class XII = 66.40 B.Tech in Petroleum Engineering= 63.40. 3 years experience in Punj Lloyd as a Commissioning Engineer, 2 Years in BDM in Education Industry. GMAT 750. Is there any scope for such profiles in ISB?
Kindly evaluate my profile for ISB 2017 intake. X-88% XII-81% B-tech Mech from NIT Surat 76% GMAT 720(Q50 V38) After college joined Godrej Bombay in international sales for their capital equipments business. Worked there for 3 years and after that joined another Indian MNC company and have been working here for past 1 year. I am curently responsible for sales for north region and manage a set of dealers as well in this region. I dont have any significant extra curricular to show. During college days I had participated in techno-cultural fests, made a short film for a competition, part of hostel committee. Participated in a lot of training programs in Godrej and volunteered for blood donation drive. What are my current chances and what all can I do to improve my profile before R1 stage for ISB. I am planning to do some volunteer work in an NGO and might take few certificate courses. Would that go against me considering it is 6 months to application deadline.

Work Ex : Currently working in Financial Services Risk Consulting in EY for 2 years. Previously interned at HDFC Bank, Family Business and FXall (Treasury system vendor).
GMAT : Will be writing on 27th May. Expect a score of 710 or above.

. Represented school at an international college festival, Harvard Model Congress, held in Singapore in 2011, simulation of the American Congress.
. Achieved distinction in Trinity College examinations for Speech and Drama (up to Grade 4).

I had applied to ISB in the january cycle this time. was not called for the interview. how do i get feedback on my form? procedure? do they give feedback to those who did not get interview calls also?

I want to pursue an MBA in Operations domain from ISB, currently I am working as an Operations Manager with 3yrs work experience. What should I do to make my profile stronger example, will taking up courses from coursera or edx help, If yes, what courses should I take.
I will be writing GMAT in june and plan to apply for ISB in cycle 1, considering the time frame please suggest.

10th - 80.2
12th - 76.8
Undergrad: NIT jamshedpur, CG: 8.54
Manager Operations: JCAPCPL ( TATA STEEL JV WITH NIPPON STEEL)
Gave CAT 15 (First Attempt) and scored 96 percentile. Average acads (80/70/80). Non engineer from BITS Pilani. 2 years of work ex. Merchant Navy background.
I may convert MDI PGP-HRM. Should I join MDI (if converted) or go back to work and after 2-3 years, try for ISB?
Please give your reasons as well.

I am planning to apply for ISB in cycle-1 as this is my first time. I am not sure whether my profile is good enough for ISB.
Should I retake the GMAT and then apply ?
Any guidance on this will definitely help me to take a correct decision ?

Hi My acads for.10/12/Comm Grad(Bcom in Financial Markets) are 88/85/83% (State board 10/12 and Mumbai University Grad) . Have also pursued Mcom from Mumbai University as correspondence course and passed with first class. Currently giving my CFA level 1 exam. How can I make my profile look more attractive for the ISB applications?? I have work ex of about 21 months with Edelweiss Securities Ltd.. in their debt capital markets team (Origination/IB debt) Is it advisable to apply at ISB given my profile(if there Is a good chance ) or rather look at other colleges (CAT) to pursue MBA ?
