I am kind of new to ISB and GMAT ... I have few querries :
1. If I apply for for R1 - Oct 2016 , then will I be able to take admission in June 2017 or for 2018 ?
I have work ex of 32 months as on February,2016 in an MNC.
2. Apart from one's manager or supervisor, can we get LoR from our college professors ? It is kind of difficult to get a LoR from my workplace 😞
3. Where do we mention extra curricular activities in ISB application ? How does ISB validates the extra currics ? Coz some where I read other than passport nothing is required for interviews... Is it only through Essays ?
4. Can GMAT be aced through self preparation ? I am weak in verbal section (gave 3 attempts in CAT where VA played the spoilsport) I have heard verbal is much more difficult in case of GMAT.

I would like to apply for the early entry option for ISB. I am currently working in Cognizant for 6 months. My Xth,XIIth and graduation percentages were 80,78 and 80. No significant extra curricular activities to show. Do I stand a chance to get a call if I say manage to get a score of 750+ in GMAT? Would like to hear from students who have previously joined through the EEO option.

what is ISB's forte ? which roles/domain are generally preferred ?
I have exp in QA and project management..what kind of roles will suit me consulting or operations ?
I had interest in marketing but since now i have close to 4 years of exp into IT i think getting good fmcg jobs are next to impossible.
