ExCurr - Excellent

Int on Nov 5th at ISB.

Is there anyone out there on the 5th of november at ISB?

Please suggest, what should guys in range of 2-6 yrs work ex wear to the interview.? Need it be a business suit...or would blue/white shirt with/wihtout tie suffice.. ? ??:

LOL! This is the first time i'm hearing that about a dress code for people in a specific work-ex range. I always assumed you went in with appropriate clothing for a interview irrespective of your work-ex. Avoid the cliched white shirt though.

Formals mate. Thats all! If you have a tie put it on.

Wear somethng formal in which you are comfortable dude...A decent formal pair with a matching tie would be fine...a suit depends on your comfort level..
So long as u dont go there with torn jeans and a sleeve less t-shirt i guess anything would be fine

i am going with a sky blue shirt, matching trouser and a tie...considering the fact that i have the interview at 2PM in Chennai...there'e no way i can even think about wearing a suit...Hope this helps...

Thnx for the tip..The purpose of specifying this range was just that a lot of shortlisted candidates fall in this range esp IT folks.So instead of being specific to a age or profile , if the advice could be more generic to this range and probanly benefit more users. Thanx anyways..:)

Any tips for dress code for ladies? What is considered more formal these days in B-school interviews: Saree or western formal? Or will a simple punjabi suit do?

What you wear depends on ur preference.... no black-white rule...there are only 2 criteria

1) IT should be formal
2) you should look decent and presentable....

APART from that....

Chennai and Pune folks are going to be interviewed first - on 25th Oct 2007.
Can you make it a point to share your experiences on the same day so that other people can get some idea on what kinda interviews are being conducted.......
