Hi .....this is Soham from new delhi.I have graduated back in 2008 as an electrical engineer and hold 2 yrs & 2 months of work ex as on till date.I am currently working as Sr. engineer in Technofab Engg. Ltd. which is an EPC contractor & deals with various turnkey projects of thermal power plants,oil & gas refineries,steel plants etc.I will be appearing for Cat 2011.
I have a query which i would like to share.I graduated on around july,2008.I got selected on campus in Wipro technologies but due to economic recession that took place on the same year my offer got deferred time & again by the company.In the process i wasted around 10 months or so.Finally i decided to join a core concern & went to join my first job on may,2009.
My question to you would be that will it cause any sort of obstacle in the way of converting a call during the interview or how much relevance will it have on my way to final selection in an elite institution like IIMs,FMS,etc even though i manage to bag a call from them?
It won't affect you much. That was time where whole world was facing a downturn. Relax! Just give your 100%. All the best.

Dear mba aspirants,i am in a very confusing state of mind,without any formal training or coaching i secured 85.92 percentile below in MAT with 657 score,my acedemics is not good 10-57 percent,12th-62 percent,graduation persuing bba below 60 percent expected,
should i try for CAT or take admission in MAT college,as if i crack CAT then also in gdpi will it be tough for due to my very bad acedemic background and no work experience?I am always good at aptitutde test,i don' know why?Please help me?

As you are from Brazil, and currently living in Bangalore, can you tell me how much Work Ex. you have! i think you must be working somewhere!!! If you have 2-3+yrs. of Work Ex. then there are many better options than the ones you mentioned!!!
