I am preparing myself now for a post graduation degree in mgmt. I am here as i dont want to be misguided by college authorities and thats only possible if u lend me a helping hand..

As far as to start off with preparation... you can have the basic study material of either TIME or CL .. get to understand the basics of all 3 sections viz. QA, VA and DI/LR.

In QA, also refer to books like Arun Sharma for some thorough practice of basic questions and then shift to mocks , starting off with previous year mocks and analyze your topics which can be your strengths and which are your weakness and work on them accordingly. By the time you are done with this much, mocks for CAT 2011 will start , then you can just write the mocks and analyze them in depth.... this much will be sufficient for QA 😃

In VA, also try to read more and more diverse topics online .. there are many resources available for same eg: Arts & Letters Daily - ideas, criticism, debate ... also, read newspapers etc online to give you better practice of online reading.. also, for mocks the same thing which i mentioned in QA applies... always focus on analysis of mocks a lot .. mere solving mocks will not help and never feel down by a low mock score :)

In DI... try to solve as many questions as possible from previous exam papers and from mocks because no book as such provide the diversity in questions as is available in old mocks and exam papers.

And yea, dont get worried by the things mentioned here.. they seem to be lot when written like this ,but as soon as you start enjoying preparation.. they will seem too less 😃

Though I am late for the MBA 2011 drive but better late than not. I too am keen on hoping into one of the big wig MBA "B-SCHOOL" and rocket my carre into the big business leagues.

I am an Engineer in ELEX & TC and have work ex of 32 months in software industry at Hexaware technologies at mumbai.

I am here for the MBA stuff and sicne already it is high time I don't have any other objective to focus on.
