Does the registration fee increase for successive attempts if one fails or does not appear in the core technical exams(or others)?

Engineer as actuary...

Hi everyone...

Need your guidance here. I am an engineer working in core sector since 3 years. I don't have a MBA degree or finance/insurance sector experience. If i clear the actuary papers what will be the career path like say after clearing the CT papers and acet of course.

I too have the same doubt but in spite of my doubt I am writing paper. I have cleared ACET and writing CT1 in Nov.

@Blu_Dragon @deep_agar @RekhaACET @niteshsingla @volintine Hey puys. I shall be appearing for ACET dec this year. Since you have already crossed that stage I need some guidance.
1. Did you refer to any other books other than the material provided?

2. Did you appear for any kind of mocks? I don't want to have a surprise pattern on the day of exam..Are there any particular site/books to be referred to?
3. Which are the more important portions to be covered..How much should we attempt to clear the exam
4. Are there any parts which are very cumbersome and not worth to spend energy on..
5. How much time did you devote and did you take any kind of leaves before exam

I have cleared ACET this june and am appearing for CT1 in November. I wanted some guidance on how the career path proceeds after somebody clears a few papers?
Also how does one enters a job in this field after qualifying some exams?
