I am planning to give CT1 this november. But my preparation is in a very bad state. Have only done half of the syllabus and still not able to make many question I saw in previous year papers from that portion. Can anyone based on past experience suggest if I should or should not sit for the exam this time?

I am planning to give ACET Exam in Jun 2014 since I was unable to register for Dec 2013. But that opens in Mar 2014. Can some one pl suggest any books for preparation till that time.
Today's paper was probably one of the hardest ever of CT6. But I was able to make a honest attempt of 77. I am quite happy and the result will tell the rest. That was my view though. Guys share your experience s well.
In ACET study material, after many formulae it is written that this formula is given in the "Tables"? What are those tables and where do we get them if they are allowed in the exam? Also since most formulae are given in the tables there should be no formulae based questions in ACET, is this true?

For Dec 2013 ..Hovering around 75% of syllabus. The book is easy and voluminous. How much is the difference between the questions asked in books vs those in ACET- is it almost same, much or very very much :P
