yes, it may be our fault that we didn't go through previous post's, may be we were logging in from office where we don't get that much time or whatever may be the reason. we have to accept our mistake, we can't run away from our responsibilities & mistake as well, and definitely can learn from our mistakes.
Anyways today the result will be declared at any time, after that real journey will start, where we need lot of hard work, patience and consistency in our work
and we can help each other through this forum.

Optimistically, I hve bleak hope that u would stop being sarcastic someday...U have no idea what others might have achieved in their life. And sometimes, those achievements may be matching pace with ur dreams. Cracking one exam is no big deal and asking a query doesn't make anybody vulnerable to ur remarks.

Today is ACET result. Congrats to all those who have passed. And to everyone who did not clear it, try it again next time.
And I really feel bad to see the forum in this shape. More so because I may be the person who started it as I got carried away with anger. Then it was blown out of proportion by some unknown guy/girl.
Everyone please accept my sincere apologies for this nuisance. And I urge everyone to get this forum back on track. Let us discuss exam and other techniques rather than fighting among ourselves.
I will be taking CT6 and CT1 this time(May 2013). Anyone who have already cleared these papers any tips for me?
Can we give any CT after clearing ACET? It need not to be in sequence?
@archit123 yes you can. You need NOT follow the order i.e CT1 first and then CT2. I took CT3 first and now CT6 and CT1 on pipeline.
hello everyone, i've cleared ACET:) I had studied finance in MBA and of course mathematics in engg. but not that much of statistics though i like it.
I m targeting 2 exams in CT series, can anyone suggest me which twos to go for ? Pls advise with proper reasoning if u can. Thank You.
This is what I felt about the ACET - if you know calculus, probability, statistics, linear algebra well, then the exam is quite easy. I worked through the learning materials provided by IAI in the 2 weekends before the exam and solved the one sample paper provided. And that was my preparation. The problems in the exam/sample paper were NOT tricky at all.
Now I am targeting 4 CT exams for May. CT3 & CT6 definitely, given that I am quite comfortable with probability and statistics. The other two will most likely be CT1 and CT8. I am not expecting much pressure from work and should be able to devote enough time to prepare.
Are there any papers in the CT series that are generally regarded as "easy"?
I see that the thread has ACET in its name - do you guys know of any other active threads/forums that revolve around the CT series or other actuarial exams?
cleared ACET...now watis the procedure for CT's....howz the syllabus?....nd would it b possible without coaching...? I am doing b.com side by side...
