After clearinf ACET you are required to submit Rs. 1000 as subscription fee. They will then send you an identity card which you need to get attested by some relevant officer and send it back along with your picture. After that your Login will be created and you will be informed through mail. This login ID may get created earlier also(but for me it happened after ID). Then you can purchase study materials through your login id. Remember that you cannot appear for an exam without purchasing study material and also just purchasing study material is not enough, you have to pay for each exam you want to write as well.
Hope this helps.
@Blu_Dragon thnx for your help.but abt sendin photocopies of our academic education.???&&&can; i appear for any exam whichever the subject i choose???or is there a chronological order to appear for the exam??
@bittusaraf 3 exams....hmmmm..nice...so how much ur done with it....m mainly concerned with ct3 so whts the status abt it....????
@volintine
Yeah academic documents are required as well. You have appear in order of series:-
CT series ( 9 papers with CT9 being practical and have mandatory contact hours). So CT9 can be taken only after that. Within a series there is no order. I will be taking CT3 this november without taking CT1 and CT2.
After clearing CT series you can go for CA series. It has 3 papers ( 2 practical and one thoery).
After CA you are eligible for ST series. Here you need to choose only 2 papers out of 8 papers available. Also here you got to have 3 yrs work ex atleast. Also few classroom hours are mandatory.
Finally you are left with the final paper of SA series which will be based on the paper you had selected in ST Series. Thus you have completed 15 papers to become an Actuary. This paper is not given exemption in other countries. You have to clear this paper in each country where you want to practice your trade though you will be given exemption in the other papers.
I hope I am clear.

@piyushm807 ya ct3.... problems on conditional probabiltiy,,,its kinda of messy...and how to deal with them...any ideas which text boook to refer...etc..
cj1093 : though i have not used any book on probabilities and statistics so far for actuaries, apart from the one provided by IAI, I would suggest a book by pearson publications, though I do not remember the exact name. Will let you knonw. But you may search for the name on google. Let me know if you have any doubts on conditional probability if you have any..We can discuss 😃
@volintine
Not sure about number of class hours bro.
By practical I mean they will give a problem you have to solve it and present it before a panel of actuaries. They do mentor you though may not be spoon feeding. If you have studied other books and not the study material only then you need not worry.
