1. When will the call letter come or Email will come ??
2. I have heard that salary has been increased from 3.25 to 3.85 ..is this true ...plz tell ???
3. what should i come prepare with while coming to Infy ?? please HELP
4. As i want to do MBA ... i have heard tht infy provide support to dose personnels who want to do MBA ...can somebody elaborate plzzzzzzz????

See If ur aggregate is 60% and above throughout...then it is not much of a problem...when u join Infy u will again be asked to fill ur marks in a form and get it verified there.There u can enter ur correct percentage.So do not worry.
I will answer few of ur Questions.
2> 3.85 per annum , are u kidding. 2 +yr of WorkX ppl are not getting that much. And one has to know that in trng period one dunt get 3.25, its only after u join Production wid 5 CGPA.
3. Nothing, Infy trng is world class, its like a world's best clg and ur getting paid to study.
4. Its all politics, u need to be infy for atleast 5 yrs and uske baad bhi 99.99% no chances.

As far as i know, der has to be 9 mnths GAP between successive application to infy.
I had couple of frnds, who in campus placements cudnt clear HR round, after Grad completion applied to infy again and got thru (Off campus, after 12 mnths) and got thru, left company after 1.5 yrs, joined another one,and right now back to infy.

Could you please confirm the following policy of Infy Lateral Recruitment Process:
I had taken the Infy Fresher's written Test when I was a fresher and I had not got through
Also, in 2008 when I tried in Infy as a lateral while working in Dell India, due to HR (Pay Negotiation),I was not through.
Recently,when I tried applying to Infosys after nearly 2 years I was given a reason that if a person is not through Infosys Interview for two times, his/her profile would not be considered anymore.
But My point is that first time as a fresher I have not taken interview but rejected in the written test itself.
Please let me know whether this is a centralised Lateral Recruitment process followed in Infy.

For OffCampus, I was talking abt 2006 batch, so things were diff @ that time. (And yes im still in Infy... 3.5 yrs,,,w wwuupp... He he)
For freshers u can drop ur resume to [email protected]
Keep sending the mail on weekly basis as they receive more than 10K freshers application per week. But off campus these days seems to be tough job, but u shud give them a Tough fight. 
For exam patter refer to chetanasforum, Freshersworld , Vyoms.
Wen i gave my Infy exam in 2006, i got multiple choice Pattern , First time infy moved from Puzzles... So one shud be ready for anything...
But once u clear the written test, 95% ppl get thru infy in HR round, they just test the Caliber and confidence of candidate. So prepare for the test and ATB for Interview.
Do let me know f u have anymore doubt.

I want to ask you people that how much would i have to pay up ? and by what time will i receive the experience letter and relieving letter ? what if i dont receive it before joining the Bschool ? Also, i want to know whether i should continue for a couple more months or leave now ( i mean will it affect the bond amount )

Hey , first of all congos for the calls !!!
Secondly, infy unlike other companies doesnt has any fixed amount for bond.... it depends on two things as (1) How long you have been in production (2) How many days before are you intimating them i.e. raising e-seperarion .
Exact amount can be told only by e-seperation team .
by what time will i receive the experience letter and relieving letter ?
It also varies.. i have seen some of my frns getting relieved on therir last day itself and for few, it took sometime.... you can tell them about higher studies and they might give you releiving letter soon....as mostly, HR is bit cooperative in cases of higher studies .

Classes start from mid june at the earliest..so, you will definitely get before that .... you want to leave now or not , is completely your call ... in case , you want to spend sometime with family, before getting into hectic b-school life, resign now ... else take salary for 2 more months.... raise e-seperation in april , giving them 2 months notice and mentioning the date of leaving in e-seperation portal as 31 may .
Select resignation date as well as relieving date as last working day of may in e-seperation.

hearty congratulations on ur converts.
last year my friend had resigned in june (gone for MS in US)when our bond would be completing on november,when he enquired to the unit HR about the amount to be paid ,he said none and my friend left with out paying a penny(with experience certificate).
he left with in 10 days of notice period(his manager is very cooperative).
so i think the amount you need to pay,as said by vision bhai will depend on your unit HR and manager,get in touch with them
PS:i think u would be joining PMIR,right????

congrats on ur infy placement
(1)infy do generally intimate u one month in advance about the date of joining,keep checking the mails,till then best of luck for ur prep
(2)good that u have decided and had done ur prep while u are in college,so i think this year u may not be requiring the same amount of efforts,as u had already cracked the exam this year....
to study along with the training ,it depends on u
the training is around 5 and half months and u would be having exams every 4 or 5 days apart from the 2 comprehensive exams
TIME is there near to infy,around 5 km but faculty u cannot compare with those of bangalore or else where and attending classes regularly or on weekends during training is not practically very feasible

if u require any clarifications on it,contact the HR

Hi i have very strange query....I have two job offer 1.infy(paying me around 15K in hand) and 2. mcnally bharat(my departmental company paying me arounf 30k in hand)bt in mcnally dere is bond of 5 yrs and breach amount is 5 lacs.....dis yr I got CAt-95.4%(no calls) and xat 99.01%le(DI ditched me,no XL calls)....i want to give all xams again....i dont know which company shud i join....mcnally gives joing in early july in kolkata only(my home)....infy i dont know....plz help...i am in dilemma wid so many factors invoved(i am fresher now)....

I do not have much info on mcnally company so i wont be able to tell much on that. I can tell u about infosys that there is a one yr bond which u need to sign when u join but i know friends who have quit infy in less than a yr to pursue their higher education. they didnt have to pay any compensation as such but i am not sure whats the scene now as the recession is just getting over.

first of all ,if u are a B.tech/MCA grad ,infy pays much higher than what u have mentioned,i suppose u are mentioning the amount u get during the training in hand(there are deductions for the room rent and some amount would be kept aside which would be given as lumpsum at the end of training)
from career point wise ur departmental company would be good,but since u have already decided to go for MBA and also almost cracked it this year
i think Infy would be a better choice.
here u have a one year bond after the completion of training and in case if u leave during the training u need not even pay that.
in any case,it would be much less than 5 lakhs
try to find out how serious they are in collecting the bond amount,if u break the bond and take decssion

just get in touch with ur immediate seniors(2009 passout)
i suppose by offer letter u meant the details of compensation and bond etc etc and not the joining date u get by mail
during our time (2008 pass out) we got offer letters as early as september and mail for joining date on may9th 2008 to join on june 9th 2008...
so chill till then and i think infy has provided a mail id of HR to direct the queries and they can give u a better picture
