there is no deposit kind of thing atleast in infy. i know it is there in wipro. there is only a one year bond.

I got infosys offer. i have 2 yr exp. i have been offered Rs.3.6L. is that ok to join infy at this point of time for this package?..plz help me out.
I am working on dotnet domain....you said that infosys is offering 2.8L for freshers....i am going to join infy in the month of jan 2007....will my package get revised for next financial year ie 2007 - 2008?

You can contact me for any infy reqmts, send me your resume. But a word of advice; infy referrals take a long time to materialize into a written test + interview; generally if you apply through consultants, tests+interview dates are decided faster.

P.S. The short cycle and long cycle are terminology for the trainings programs for freshers (2 months / 4 months); since you'll be interviewed as a lateral, nothing about it for you! 😃

First of all let me make it clear that this test is only for people with a CS/IT background.
All other stream people ought to be in the long cycle batch.
If this condition applies to you, then all i can say is -Don't worry about that test. It would be an easy one for a CS/IT guy. It has very basic questions from the things you studied during your engineering course. So you can just chill 😃

In dream for IIMs i have not even checked for a job till now.
I am like now wanting a kidn of job..as my family can't afford more on me.
Some kind people please help me in this regard.

I really want to give CAT again..please help find a way frens.
Just a call i can put my blood to convert it.

86.3 in 12th

i am good at extracurricular activities.
Was a student organisation chairman.
And more extra curricular activities in my hand too.
I have .NET work experience for 8 months frens....like i have worked on a small project while studying for CAT.
i can't put that as experience as i haev not stayed for the whole project..

I too have 9 months exp and joining in mysore in a couple f days.u can refer my test and interview exp. post in pages 42,43 or 44.

@Krisheer, buddy you got a tough call. Jmet affliated institutes (IITs) are quite good for a MBA degree, but you have some responsibilities to be shouldered.
Just a humble suggestion, try to get a job (in this area i can help, send my your resume, i'll upload to Infosys for freshers reqmt) as well as in other companies. Generally on joining any company, you'll have a short duration of 2-4 months of training, after which you'll be put into a project & work.
You can definitely prepare for next year's cat & other exams.

@amit, generally infosys doesn't recognise work-ex
My advice? Wait for 2 months, get that work-ex of yours acknowledged; join as a lateral.
Also as an other alternative do ask the HR about your work-ex although as far as i know, infy doesn't bends it's policies! 😐

Go for the IIMA dude! Give it your best shot; you can always apply for Infy later!

P.S. Was that a Infy written test call you are talking about, or the final joining call? If the latter, then still would advice you to try for IIMA, at the same time ask for a delay in joining, put forward some imp reason (e.g. illness/family problem/etc)
hi guys.. i got placed at infy during a campus pgm... rite now im doing my 7th sem in Electronics And comm... the problem is i had a practical lab exam recently.. and it was so hard... the question i got as was really tough and i hadnt done nething like that bfore... and the external Teacher killed me with the viva-voce *sigh* so there's a good chance i wnt pass that exam.. could any one tell me what's Infy's position on supplementary's..?. i mean if u have a bad paper at the date of joining do they reject you straight away or is there some other action they take??. i would really appreciate it if some one could help me with this thanks.. p.s i have an aggregate of 70%...

Hi Amit,
If your written goes fine then surely an interview call will come your way!!! The interview is non-technical, but they may ask puzzles and other stuff. Since your exp is less than a year, you will be a fresher and you will have to sign a bond.
