all i wanted to know is that I'm a bba grad.(finance) with 2yrs of work ex.
as stores manager....
is there a room for me in INFY......
or is it a case that only IT ppl can come in INFY
cause i now i want to join a prestigious co. and move up.......

Hi..Congrats on yours...
I'm an java professional with 4 years exp and wanted to move into supply chain/ERP side. I attended Infy interview(tech and personal) on july 15 in bangalore for enterprise applications-supply chain practice. I was informed in the interview that that the joining date is only going to be after sep 15 and asked for my consent. I was also informed that i would need to take training in hyderbad . I'm waiting for the call/post/email from Infy.
Can someone let me know how infy would send the offer letter? is it by email?

They send it both by email as well as a hard copy to your postal address.

Hey Rahul,
Infy does recruite people from NON IT backgrounds.. but still technical streams. Also, if you really want to join infy from non tech stream, then you have to be an MBA for a decent job. After an MBA in finance, your chances will be much better. I am not at all certain as to what opportunities, if any, are there for BBA grads..
hi everyone i got 63% marks in B.E but by manipulation i showed to infy people that i got 65% and luckily i got selected.
now i dont know what to do.if i go there and join i am in danger of being caught and if i dont i may be loosing a opportunity.
some of my friends say s/w companies dont verify marksheets extra......
plzz.. telll me what kind of verification is done in INFY and shud i go or not....

I have NEVER heard of a company that doesnt look into the marksheets. They will verify it ... ofcourse.. there is no workaround. But there is no harm in trying. You might get a person who is lax and doesn't care for it.. but then anytime you get caught ... you can be chucked out..
I am dead sure they will check it.. Otherwise... a lot many people would have done this...

but today astonishingly i recieved joining date its 21st aug mysore,

It is not that big a deal, plus I am DEAD SURE that what you have heard is gossip, cause I know for a fact that ALL the HR people are not aware of cutoffs for individual colleges, let alone someone on the outside!!!!

Also, another thing i might like to add here... You will be very grateful towards infy only for the first year.. I dont particularly believe in Loyalty and stuff, but I will suggest that you look at the job from a 5 year perspective instead of 1-2 years....
But... well.. That is a long time away and you will yourself be the best judge then....

i got a call frm infy,it says reaport at mohali on sep4.
does that mean that my training will be in mohali only and then the posting also??
