hi this is alex, can anyone tell me the latest cutoffmark put by infy during joining.coz i have 67.2 % in my B.tech n >80% in 10th standard n >85% in inter.if it is 68% what shuld i do now i recieved offer letter yest.n can anyone plz elaborate the % relaxation topic.whats the relaxation for JNTU univ.one thing infy ppl verified my marks sheets n took xerox copies of marks before my interview.

Alex, Your anxiety is very visible in the post!!! Chill buddy!! There is no standard minimum marks in Infy. They have different cut offs for different universities. They would have disqualified you before the test. They dont call you for the written test, if you told the same marks, and they are below the criteria!! that's what the initial screening is meant for!!

I attended interview (experinced catelory : >5 Years) in Chennai on 27th May, 2006. I had both technical & HR round. Still now I do not hear anything back from them.
Any one attended interview on this date in Chennai, please let me know if you have heared anything from Infy.

Sir, I am not aware of the salary package... but again, there is no fixed criteria. They should definitely offer a 10-20% increment on your current CTC. But depends on which Unit you are joining!!!
Also, this is an aspect I have not been involved with.... Yet!! But, this all is very relative. Also, there are very few people with 5 years' experience who are project managers. They would be Senior Programmer Analyst....

Hey Alex, Check with another person from your college who has the same or lower percentage. Personally, I dont think it makes that much of a difference. When you go there, they will ask you to fill in a lot of forms. LOTS!!! There is no need to get worried over this. If anyone in your college, this batch or previous, got in with less than 68%, then there is no problem at all!!!
But, very frankly, they will not concentrate on your marks any more. They will ask you to submit your degree or some sort of temporary degree certificate. They will seriously not consider a 0.8 % difference.
Also, I am not aware of this relaxation that you have discussed previously as well. I haven't heard any relaxation after the person has been given a call letter, cause it does not matter. PLUS!!! I can damn sure guarantee that the call letter will state for degree certificate, but nowhere mention the minimum marks you need to score in your final year. If you have had a discussion with them when you were recruited, and they said that they will not take you if you got less, then that's another matter.
But otherwise, seriously, this is a little over rated!!! They will not harass you over marks, rather over the degree certificate.... They need that ASAP!!! Usually, will give you till the end of your training to come up with it!!!

My bro was working tooo!!! But i doubt it helps. The company is so large that you will always have 1 relative, near or distant, working there...
Relax Alex... I know its hard... but i am pretty confident that they will not crib over a difference of 0.8%.
Also, if your training is in Mysore, even better. They will have a huge batch and all such things really become irrelevant. I dont know about the training at other places as i have myself not attended any or been in contact with someone who has.
I think you are in the clear... Relax and enjoy your last days of freedom.. and brace yourself for the next stage in your life...

Pal...IT companies are very rigid about there criteria.So even if you have 67.99, u still are not eligible. Though i would say, try your luck by sending your resume to them & if you get a call thats bonus.

Hey Alex, 3 things that you should ask yourself before I atttempt to answer that query of yours: 1. Who was the source for this information? 2. Did you contact your seniors from previous batches for info on this? 3. Are you serious??
I mean... I told you earlier... I have NEVER EVER heard Infy having a set criteria across universities. In my university, 66% was DISTINCTION!!!Infy's criteria was 58%... How people can start rumours is Amazing!!!
Seriously, I suggest to you that you stop listening to all this crap... if you are that perplexed ... go ahead and try to call or mail one ofthe infy people .. but i think that unless you got an EMAIL from them... stop listening to all this..

Well Alex, Then i Suggest that you email someone @ infy. Someone whose email ID you got with your employment letter. Probably they will be able to respond better.
Thank God. i recieved the offer letter from infosys technologies just today i.e 07.07.06.they did not give any joining date n told that they will be sending it in few days later.i took the test on 11th jun n attended the interview on 13 th jun at hyderabad.

I'm an java professional with 4 years exp and wanted to move into supply chain/ERP side. I attended Infy interview(tech and personal) on july 15 in bangalore for enterprise applications-supply chain practice. I was informed in the interview that that the joining date is only going to be after sep 15 and asked for my consent. I was also informed that i would need to take training in hyderbad . I'm waiting for the call/post/email from Infy.
Can someone let me know how infy would send the offer letter? is it by email?
