Infosys Recruitment | PaGaLGuY

Hi, On 31st dec the HR - Infosys BPO - bangalore called & confirmed whether I am looking for a job change, notice period, ctc & said they will process the resume'.I had applied for a opening via a job portal.
Then on Jan 10th I had a technical (telephonic) round , which went pretty good . The interviewer said that they will get back within 10 wrkg days... but now 14 working days are over. I am really looking forward for the offer & keeping my fingers crossed...
Could anyone be able to advice how long they take to process the candidature & also I did send a mail to the HR but no response yet....any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,

I am joining infosys in June. I want to take CAT'13 and join an MBA college next year. I will only complete 8 months of bond period by May'14. Can I safely leave the company without inviting any legal action?

Hi,

The amount of bond keeps on decreasing as you keep on working in the company. And after 8-10 months of services, the amount decreases to almost 20-30%(approx,not sure about the exact figure) of the original amount. If you pay the amount, then definitely no legal action is taken. Otherwise, it's upto the HRD to decide.

sir can you get the precise percentage that may be payable as there are no source of getting the information. and how good are the possibility of getting the bond terms relaxed in case of higher education?

Hi,
There is no fixed period for that. But you can always check for the status of your candidature through the career site.
If the HR guy is not replying you, just go throught the FAQ link in your account on career site and send an email to the email address mentioned there.

Hi,

The percentage depends on HR handling your separation, so can't tell you the exact figure. In some cases it has been relaxed to 0 as well.

But I would suggest you should first join Infy first and then decide, if you want to leave Infy or not for higher education. Infosys do have higher education programmmes within the campuses as well.

@sahilkataria Hi Sahil, Appreciate your response. Thanks!
Sahil , I don't have any login id or reference# to check in infy career site.
Also, I had mailed the HR via the mail send by the Scheduling Team HRO-Recruitment ,Infosys BPO Ltd; wherein they had mailed the time & date of the telephonic interview. Also , the contact# was available in the mail & I did call & they said to send a mail request by 'replying all' in the mail they had send. I followed there instruction but no reply yet....
once again thanks for responding.Regards

@SK_123 Hi, It's a tricky situation you are in. What i would suggest is to get hold of the person who took your interview and remind him that you have not received any kind of response from their side even after so many days. I would suggest you to send a "Gentle Reminder Mail" or call them again.

Regarding the bond amount, it is a very personal decision, both of your HR and You. Normally the HR's tend to abstain from taking any amount if you are going for higher education. but, if you are going for a job change, they would charge you a decent amount.

The bond amount is calculated as a fixed amount multiplied by the number of hours you have logged into the system at mysore. You will not get to know the amount until you tell the HR that you are resigning and want to know the amount.

One more thing, I had a friend who decided to not pay up. He got a legal notice served at his place and he replied to it. He still has not paid up and is working at other place. There were some friends who faked failing to be thrown out of the company for long-term goals. So, it depends a lot on many factors. I would suggest you to join first, clear the written and then think about the Bond Amount. If you get a good college, you would certainly not mind paying a small amount. :)

let me know if you have any questions in mind.
@Revenge2012 Hi, thanks for that suggestion....

@iLoveTorres Refer to my previous post for your query.
@SK_123 In case you still do not get any response from the company's side, PM me your details and the person who took your interview, details. Will try and help you. :)
@Revenge2012 Thanks! could you please advice your email address , I 'll forward the required details.Really appreciate your kind help...
@SK_123 Hi, i would suggest you to go through the official channel first. Wait, for a few days more. These things do take time. And if you are sure that you had a good interview, have confidence.

I have PM'd you my email-address. Wait for a few days more, lets say a week more, and then i will try to find out what's going on. Again, these things do take time. :)
@Revenge2012 Hey Thanks ...was eager to know the result so in a hurry had send you the request:) anyways I'll send a reminder to the HR & wait. Hope they won't get pissed off with my requests? I don't want that to happen.... and yup... the interview was pretty good....that's the reason I want to know the outcome because I believe I gave the best..keeping my fingers crossed....
I will wait & send my details to your email-address ,if required.
Really appreciate your advice.Thanks much!!
