Mysore is a development center for infosys. There are 5 SDB's (Software Development blocks) in the mysore campus.
If we dont have slip of proof of standard vaccinations against Hepatitis B, Hepatitis A (Jaundice),Chickenpox, Typhoid..??
i have gone through it when i was small kid.
is it mandatory to show their proof??

Just wanted to ask whether Infosys has a tie-up with any top-tier B-school with respect to some corporate seats??
If yes, is it better to go for the corporate seat procedure or applying through CAT/XAT/GMAT???
They do have tie up with IIM-Bangalore on management in software engineering and with IIIT bangalore on some program(there may be other colleges too which iu am not aware)
prerequisities are like 2 years work ex ...would be there
check the higher edn policy in sparsh ....

I have workex of 9 months in Infosys including training.Currently I am on bench at Pune.
I have been waitlisted at NITIE which I m hoping to convert.
I need to resign before the classes start at NITIE.Now since I am still in bond period I may be asked to shell out some money.My queries to u all are-
1) if I only ask for a relieving letter do I still need to pay the bond money?
2)Does the salary slips from previous employer suffice as proof of workex for the companies during placements.
3)How much money I may be asked to pay after 9 months of experience?Any informed guess would be more than handful

1. Bond money is not linked to any particular piece of paper( workex certif )...so if u leave the compny as per the policy...u will have to pay.
2. NO...salary slips wont suffice( tho ur frnds willl tell u they will
)HR will straightaway know that u just ran away ..... and since u ran away once ... u can do that again also.
3. For that look at ur joining/offer letter.

First of all , in case if u have mentioned in ur appn form for NITIE that u are working , find out whether college requires the relieving letter (some colleges are so particular about this , in which case its better to pay bond amount and get relieving letter)
mostly u would be treated as fresher for placements , so i dont think ur work ex (less than 11 months) matter
It might be around 1.5 lakhs (rough estimate) . The amount keeps reducing as u near the bond completion time , find out with ur HR, would be in a better posn to answer
Also find out what ur seniors (sure there would be infoscions in every good B school
) had done for bond

Ppl use to do that, but there is no rules like this and it just depends on the gatekeeper. 1-2 days will be fine, but more than that u can try .

generally infy recruits systems engineer at job level 3a
job level 2 is probably for Computer and communication division (CCD) or BPO
operations executive most probably means CCD

As far as i know , they take Bsc and BCA grads for IMS and IVS division
the designation would be one level below systems engineers and after 2 years there would be one exam conducted (provided there is rating of 1 or 2) and those who clear (most people do) will be promoted as systems engineer
If u are recruited for Infosys technologies it wont be for BPO for sure

2)will i be given maintenence in infosys for this salary ?
plus i will do am mba in one or two years

If you like coding, go for Infosys. Else, go for E&Y.; Since you will be doing MBa after 1 or 2 years, It would be better to choose E&Y; over Infy because you will have a better profile which will give you an edge during the selection process.
Talking about maintenance, If you work in IT for 2 or 3 years, Development and Maintenance will look the same to you 😃 Maintenance will have new modules to develop as well. So, don't worry about that now.

U have mentioned u dont like coding and u will be doing MBA so i think u should join E &y; . Regarding package u willl be getting 13K for first 4/6 mnth and then 22K in infosys
