Hi , guys

Please help me out..in a dilemma about future...

i am B.tech (civil) graduate from vellore institute of technology..passed out in 2010..i wanted to persue mba but couldnt manage in that year due to some issues..

following that i joined M.E program at Bits Pilani in that year as couldnt waste 1 yr for preparation by sitting at home..

but till now even after completing M.E i still think i should have done MBA..

1. would it be fine to prepare and apply for mba now?...are there guys who do MBA even after M.E?

2. do colleges accept such guys or it may be a negative point for me during interview time.

since my academic background is not that ground i particularly aim for top private institutions.

academic background : 10th - 78.8%
12th - 70.4%
B.tech - 80.6%
M.E - 70% +
no work experience...

Hi vishalpuri.

You hav done good justification to your background acads and need not woory about ur numbers for future prospect. they are gud enough in the eyes of private management schools.
you need to justify ur action or idea of doing MBA after ME nd i thnk u shd not mention about the fact that u were interested in MBA aftr B.E but went for M.E . That may strike u down in interview. Else where everything is fine and all the best 😃

I wanted to inquire whether Infosys provide accommodation to Associate consultants during the initial training period at their Hyderabad Campus??

If yes, Then, whether personal Laptops are allowed in the Rooms that you have been allocated?

i am the student of engineering of 2012 batch. i got placed in infosys in september 2011.i got letter of intent and campus connect portal id in january 2012..
after that no mail came from them so i just want to know what could be the tentative date or month for my joining??

You might have a tough time explaining why another masters after pursuing a masters, besides that I don't think there will be any tough.
I personally know some one who has done her masters from BITS Pilani Goa and has got a call from IIM-s,b,i,k (but she had God level Acads) so a shortlist can be ensured, after that it boils down to how your interview turns out

soft copy is meant to arrive by e-mail
hard copy will arrive by courier or snail mail


tentative date depends on your college,
your college seniors can give you a better idea regarding this, even your placement committee would be the right authority to ask,

No campus connect is not mandatory , though a few colleges insist on people placed in Infosys to complete campus connect.

when will infosys conduct any off campus for freshers? Will they hire or not? Anyone knows HR then please confirm it for freshers.

Soft copy will come by email. And Hard copy will be given after your joining, on your first day.

No it is not necessary.But u will be given two months time to produce it after joining.Else background checking will be done by them which will cost you 800 bucks
