got placed in infy past september, got my account at infy careers locked due to too many failed login attempts Do I wait it out or do I need to contact someone to unlock it?


Just send a mail to [email protected] specifying your problem, name, college name, DOB and user name. I had the same problem. My account was unlocked in 2 days...

Hi Friends,

I have been recruited by Infy for the associate consultant post on 28th November(campus recruitment).
None of us from that drive gt the offer letter yet,can any one please spread some light on the approx date of joining for this post and the location that people are getting.
I heard infy is recruiting Ass.Cnsltants from various campuses.
It would be helpfull if someone(who has gt the offer letter) can share the details.

I think you will get to work on Account Payable or Receivables. If you want further info let me know. My brother is in Infosys in somewhat similar profile. PM me.

yes, a medical certificate would possibly do....get in touch with the HRs...

Yes that would suffice. Make sure you inform to the company.

Well I met with an accident 10 before my joining and sprained my ankle. They asked me to furnish them with the following details :

1) Doctor's certificate(medical certificate)
2) Doctor's prescriptions
3) Test reports
4) Scanned copy of all the marksheets
5) Booked air/train tickets scanned copies
6) Scholastic averages sheet(they provide the excel file, you have to fill it out and send with all the above attachments)

Well, I got the extension but beware! Don't bluff that you are suffering from jaundice etc, coz they carry some tests when you join and if they find that you were lying, they fire you(I have heard some cases where they have fired some people because they lied to get extension).

Hii...I have my internship in Infy..my DOJ is 30th Jan...its a 4 month training....

I have been short listed for SCMHRD GD/PI process. It says to select a slot between 4th-12th Feb. The Center is Pune. The process fo GD/PI is 4 hrs.My first choice would definitly be to select Sunday,but in case I dont, xan I get a leave of a day to attend this session??? The slot selection begins at 7:00 AM today...It is very urgent..please help...

Well, a friend of mine got IIM calls, he was undergoing training at Infy, mysore. You don't get leave from training unless you are sick.. well he got sick and went to attend the GD/PI(you know what I mean)

you can always tell your batch manager that you are sick and are staying at your relative's place at pune and will join within few days

Hi,

I have around 4.6 yrs of exp. in a niche technology and I have been offered a package around 9LPA..with around 20% variable in this with CPI, VCPI and IPI.

As quoted from offer letter
[ we are delighted to offer you a Role of Associate Consultant with Infosys (the "Company") in Job Level 4.
Your Role Designation will be Senior Associate Consultant and your Personal Level will be 4.]

Q1)What is job level 4 and what is personal level 4?
Q2)Is it ok for lateral with 4.6 yrs of exp to join at level 4?
Q3)They stated that offering me a role of Associate Consultant and Role Designation will be Senior Associate Consultant. What does this mean??
Associate is at entry level or what?
Q4) What will be my next level and role for promotion?

Can you guys already at infosys help me with this?

I have to join within a month..

To put things objectively , the following is what u can expect at Infy :

1) If yr gross is 9 LPA , yr take home will vary month to month based on company quarterly performance , I worked in Infy for 2 years and could never understand my salary structure ...period
2) Do not go by Role/ Role designations , all this is immaterial in Infy , if u do join Infy , join with a open mind and a lesser ego since they are experts in giving u something tangentially different to what u may like
3) I was in Level 6 A , if I remember correctly; I was a Sr PM so u r 2 levels below the middle Management level
4) Regrading yr promotion et al , there is a very complex and idiotic process of CRR , something like % ile with a lot of variables thrown in like clearing 2 certifications , average 9.15 hours per quarter , etc etc ...if u do want to get promoted fast and get CRR1 , be very close to yr boss and other influential persons (believe me , it works like this everywhere)
5) Last but not the least kindly do not go with an intention of making a career in Infosys or for that matter any Indian IT company ......make money , go abroad and make more money , dont fret about CRR or promotions , enjoy life

If that is the case then wat shud BTechs/BEs/MCAs/MBAs (who rejoin IT industry) do according 2 u? ... I mean a company has to be finally chosen to make ones career in . Everyone also cannot start a business of their own.
