I have got my offer letter and DOJ is 7th February 2011.
My query is, do I need to send anything to them to confirm my appointment. ?

experience ..I have acadamic records of in 10th 83% and in Dip 89%
in BE 72% but its second class since i cleared single paper in the next semester ie october .
I do not have any history of arrears except that single paper that too comes in 8th semester.
will infosys accept this kind of creteria?
already they have confirmed the date of joining and all ...i have resigned my position from my current employer...i am tensed now what they will do in future ..
kindly tell me what is the elegibility creteria for experienced people at infosys..
is this a problem for me?

It depends on ur passion mate.. U need not be good in programming right now. infosys training will make u a good coder. Given the present scenario its a very rare chance to get an onsite oppurtunity in jus 1 or 2 yrs.. But i will not say its immposible but the ratio of ppl with 1-2 yrs exp getting an onsite is relatively less as it depends on the unit u r posted to.
there is no need to prep before u join. if u still wanna study something den do C, and RDBMS

well these are really two extremes, you mentioned there. They have a world of differences.
Where in IT industry you could be spending 9 hrs a day sitting in one cubicle, in Army you'd be finding yourself doing sports as a part of your daily regimen.
In IT industry you could get to exercise wider choice, in Army, choice is always with the higher authority. And that choice is your command.
In IT, you can pack your bags and say, 'Its time i switched my Company'. In Army, theres no looking any other way. But also, in Army you will never be asked to pack your bags and push off yourself. So job security. That again, to the point that even if you want to quit, you wont be allowed to so easily.
There is a lot more freedom in the IT world than in Army, but that does get returned in leaps and bounds with the daily Honor you receive as a Defence personal.
And those are only few points. So, it really depends on you.. as to what you prefer. As far as Onsite opportunities are concerned, yes at some point or the other, IT would give those, but in case you did not know, Army also sends out its delegates all over the world. Obviously, not as many as IT proffesionals that Infosys sends out overseas.
If you're looking at money, theres more of it in IT, although you will start off quite meager in Infy. The growth is steady and performance incentive.

My DOJ is on 20th dec,n i have still not received the mail from infy regarding details of medical tests to be undergone before joining! When is the mail usually expected? Are we allowed to join without undergoing medical tests n the letter indicating the details of the same? or is it compulsory? What should i do in case i don't receive it before joining?

in nsr, select the option which says that you have been asked by the company to get NSR, as u arent an employee of infy yet
and nsr can be filled any time you want, as now infy campus also has nsr office
but many people get it done in advance

If one fails in any module, he/she is allowed to appear in a retest within a few days. If the person fails in the retest too, then he/she is deemed failed in the module. If one fails in more than 2 modules, then he/she is asked to leave the company.

What should I do?

My resume is Good, filled wid lots of Extra-curricular & co-curricular.
