hi Anchun,
kindly pls hlp me about this issue...I ve been reported my intervw to infos on 24th oct in chennai, n HR told they ll be declarin d results thru mail by 3-4 weeks,but since thr is no reply frm them. some of my frnds got rejction mails n some may not.i dunno how long should i wait or to whom i should make my queries...kindly if anyone hep me out of this issue..reply me ASAP...

Accomodation for parents will be provided.....but that is only after you join infy if im correct. (as in, not at the point of joining.....maybe a few weeks or months after joining)

As for the tests....you can get them done in any hospital. The list of hospitals is suggested since all the tests can be done from any of them at one place itself.




Patience....it may take upto a few weeks :)

Can anyone please suggest me which company to join whether cts or infy? i am in a confusion to choose among the both. Plz suggest me which company to join? cts joining date on nov25th and infy joining date on feb7th

I have one doubt please clarify.I have got offer letter from infosys in that they have elaborated my father name usually we wont elaborate, use only the first letter as initial in the name all the certificates has like that only.because of this "Is there any problem?" ,please clarify my doubt friends.

There is no problem in this.. every ones initial is strched here.. Donno the reason. Anyways it wont cause any problem.

I am a B.E IV'TH Year student pursuing my Engineering in Computer Science from S.G.S.I.T.S Indore.Infosys is likely to visit our college for campus in the very first week of December.
As most of the guys on this thread are in infosys itself so please could someone assist or guide me how to clear the aptitude test of infosys.

Pls Guys i am in urgent need of your support.

Karunyan is there any negative marking in the paper.And also is there any cut-offs that must be cleared.

For us ,when it was conducted in dec 09 , der was a .25 -markin...
we had two section quantitative aptitude and Verbal section and each section had a cut off to clear(which dey didnt tell)

there is no negative marking
there are sectional cutoffs.....60% in both the sections will be good enuf.....it is not specifically mentioned though...
i had appeared in sep'10 and hav my joining on 14th feb '11
the qns. r quite easy...just keep the time factor in mind and dont waste much tym on the rc passages.....do them at last...

the earlier 1 was meant 4 u...
and yes....the patter i guess has changed and there are no quantz qns. now...as i had appeared in sept. didnt find any.......
go thru "verbal &non; verbal reasoning" rs agarwal.....dat should be enuf
in my paper the lrdi section had a breakup as follows:
simple percentage caselet -5 qns
odd one out -5 qns
data sufficiency -5 qns
di set on ratios -5 qns
circular arrangement caselet -5 qns
syllogisms , logical consistency type -5 qns

the english section had:
2 rcs - 5 qns each ( factual type qns)
parajumbes
sentence correction
para completion
incorrect sentence and dat was about it

My doj is 27th dec and the offer letter suggests that only individuals with no backlogs will be entertained at the time of joining ,i got a backlog in 1st sem on account of some health reasons but now i have passed and fulfilling rest of the criteria as mentioned .

Does offer letter meant that current backlogs individuals will not be entertained or sumting else.

No backlogs mean those which u have not cleared till now.. Since in ur case u have cleared it there is nothin to worry...

My take as a fresher join CTS now.Wasting 2 months for the same job is not a wise decision . CTS is currently one of the fastest growing brand + If you really hate it , you can always get back at Infosys .

your work ex is counted from the day u join the company that included ur training also:clap:

Yes agreed with Kero, you can join CTS and in the two months if you are not satisfied with company rules and policies or your profile than you can opt for Infy.


I have a doubt..You need to register for NSR for both the companies. Which company he/she should register at nsr.?
