I'm writing with pain, I doubt whether Infosys HR's are human beings or not, they are not giving any(good or bad) feedback to any of the candidate for the interview or offer status, neither replying to mails nor answering to phone calls.
I had very good impression on Infy, now I'm re-thinking about to join Infy, I didnt expect such kind of behavior from Infy HR's
Improper communication or delay in communication will create bad impression on infy, better HR's should aware of this and adopt as best practice.
Please have patience, literally lakhs of people apply to infy each year.......even the HR's are loaded with work at all times, show a little bit of mercy before making comments on the company.

can you please tell how much pay/allowance/money is paid when we are sent onsite...??? and which stream should one opt for (if we have a choice)
Don't know how much you are paid when you are on-site but from what i have heard it is more than $70,000 per annum. Do confirm from someone who has actually been onsite though.
As for opting for stream, you do not have a choice for stream, you have to take what you get. :

Hi, I gave interview on 23rd OCt 2010 , Saturday, I have been there for nearly 6 hours and cleared all rounds of interview and I have offered and decided on role,salary part. I asked to wait 10 days and within that I will receive my offer. Since I already resigned my present job and I have another offer from HP, this I revealed during my HR round and HR quoted as Hign Priority on my application form. 3 weeks completed still I haven't receive any communication from Infosys. I wanted to know, whether offer is still open or not ? if not why false offer given to me after completing all the rounds of interview and decided role and salary part. To be honest, I denied HP offer once I got verbal offer from Infosys. Now, I'm totaly in confusion whether to wait or not? as every day counts in career growth. Please atleast let me know the offer status
Hi puys, i m put into Finacle Testing training.. Can anyone tell how experience in product testing be of any use when i move to a different company. i hear a lot of negative feedbacks from fellow Infoscions and ppl in other IT companies about testing as a whole and Finacle testing to be more specific.. Things told are 1) Finacle testing experience cant help in finding a job in other companies after 2-3 yrs 2) no onsite oppurtunity 3) Slow growth prospects 4) lesser salary when compared to developers
i have actually applied for extension in my doj. infosys people accepted my extension request, moreover they told me that i will be able to join infy in dec 2010. but the problem is that one of my friend who applied for extension at the same time has got the new doj, but i havent received any mail from infy. i am a bit tensed what should i do???

nothing to worry about....
they would be allocating u to the new batches acc to the strength of that batch. u can wait for some more time or contact the HR person for ur new joining date

actually they said that infy has last joining for 2010 batch in dec2010 only. so thats the concrn for my worry
