since my joining is late in december, i am answering all exams( cat xat etc..). There is a strong possibility that i'll get into one of the b schools. Now i'm scared whether ill be able to break bond or not!!!
If you get into a B-school you need not have to break the bond. The bond prohibits you from joining another company, but does not prohibit you from going for higher education. I have seen people from my batch get released in between training, without issues upon showing their call letters to the HR.
i have 1 more question....In whose hands does it depend to take action on Bond breaking? Batch owner or any other HR person??

hey i got placed in infosys on 14th sept,10 but they didnt give any conformation or joining letter. They told us that they will contact us within 3-4 weeks. where to contact to remind them for conformation letter.
Relax. Wait for sometime. They will contact you. If they don't contact you, then let us know.
i did not sat 4 infy when it came 2 campus and i didn't get a job in my core sector of chemical engineering after that:splat:............i have now applied to their website and i hav received a mail which mentions that i can come for recruitment taking place at various colleges in India like in greater noida,mumbai,pune,bangalore etc......
1) If i go to one of these colleges and get selected, will i get my joining along 2011 batch guys or somewhat earlier.......?
2) Do infy people announce the result for off campus guys taking part in such recruitments on that day itself as they do in case of campus recruitments where they announce the results on the same day............or they send some sort of e-mail to guys like me who are taking part in such off campus recruitment drive........?

It is their prerogative and depends on the business. IF they want you early then you may be among 2010 guys or else with 2011 guys. Most probably if you go for the test now and get selected, then you may be asked to join immediately and you may not be joining with 2011 guys who will start joining from June onwards.

Not necessarily. They may take some time to decide and will send you an email in that case.

Yes it is possible for you , I did it....
You will have to take official leave from infosys which will be very limited in number.....also the day of GDPI may coincide with compre's /module tests etc...In those cases you are usually send to another batch which is behind you(Talk to your batch owner regarding this). We had an instance of a person who was send to a batch one week later as he was attending his brothers marriage and missed module test...
My suggestions. 1) If you feel confident about your chances after written exams..try getting your infy joining date extended.....they will ask for a medical/personal reason...which I am sure you all can manage. 2) If you join Infy then fill all your forms with Bangalore as GD PI centre...Bangalore is 4 hrs from Mysore...Try taking interview dates on Saturday or Sunday..
It would be really hectic..I was lucky that my GDPI slots were more or less clubbed togeather..though I also missed some...So Take an informed decision...

No idea about it dude..they have a weird formula of calculating based on number of resource(computer/labs etc) usage hours...so don't have any idea...
If you break the bond you might get legal summons but how much the company will run after you depends usually companies dont chase you but again depends from situation to situation...Also in such a case you wont get the employment certificate...
I offered by Infosys on 23rd Oct 2010 for lateral placement, But still not received official offer letter either by mail of hard copy, HR not replying to my mail. Is there any chance they rejected or onHold my offer, I have another offer from Mphasis an HP company, but infosys package is good compare to Mphasis. please let me its worth wait some more time(almost 1 week passed now). Is there any change offer has been withdrawn from infosys as Infy hr's not at all responding to my mails, Please kindly feedback

Give them at least 15 days. Try to contact HR over phone if you have their phone number. Else, if you went through a consultant contact through them.
