Hi my DOJ in Infosys is 15 Nov 2010..They have mentioned in offer letter to submit pan card before 30 days of DOJ to conform joining...But there is no contact details available in offer letter to sent those documents..They have mentioned to sent it in e-docket..What is it???How to submit pan card???? Please help me....
Read the following information from my offer letter and reply your comments:splat:
2. Probation Period and Confirmation as a Permanent Employee
You will be on probation for a period of six months from your date of joining the Company and may be confirmed as a permanent employee upon successful completion of your probation. Please note that as per Company policy, the employee would be confirmed on the 1st day of the month succeeding the month of completion of probation of six months from the date of joining the Company or after the period of probation, whichever is later. In addition to your performance during the probationary period, your confirmation as a permanent employee is subject to your submitting the requisite documents as required by the Company. Two copies of the following (To be provided on the date of your joining the Company. Please refer to the clause on Background Checks for further details) will constitute the required documents: 1. Class 10 (or equivalent) Marks Sheet/s 2. Class 12 (or equivalent) Marks Sheet/s 3. Graduation Marks Sheet/s 4. Final Graduation Degree Certificate 5. Post Graduation Marks Sheet/s (if applicable) 6. Diploma Certificate (if applicable) 7. Relieving letter / experience letter (in case you are already employed) from all previous employers (as applicable) 8. Passport 9. National Skills Registry 10. PAN Card (Under Income Tax laws, disclosure of your Permanent Account Number (PAN) to Infosys Technologies Limited is mandatory. Please disclose your PAN to Infosys on or before 30 days from the day of joining and note that disclosure of PAN is a pre-condition for your confirmation into the system). Please note that the above mentioned documents should be uploaded and approved in the e-docket application 15days prior to the due date of confirmation. Your confirmation with the Company may be withheld in case of failure to submit the aforementioned documents. The period of probation can be extended for a further period of six months or part thereof as per the Company Policy.
It says on or before 30 days from the day of joining. That means you have to submit it before the completion of 30 days from DOJ. For e.g.:- If you join on 27th March 2006 (*my DOJ Infosys) then you will have to submit the details before 26th April 2006. Hope you understand what that means. So, stop worrying.
1) Does anyone here know what's the date of joining for the last batch of recruits of the 2009-10 pass out batch? As far as I saw, it is 10 Jan '11. But are there any more batches scheduled to join the Mysore campus even after that?
2) I am going to give Infosys aptitude on 23rd this month. I'm really tensed and anxious. What sort of preparations are needed to crack Infosys aptitude round? Plus, when would the tentative date of joining be? (for oct '10 recruits)
I would be happy if anyone could throw light upon this regard. :)

Check out the Infosys 2010 community on orkut or FB. You'll get the info on all the DOJs. Regarding the aptitude, maths part is pretty simple, for puzzles try solving Shakuntala Devi's - Puzzles to Puzzle You.. should be more than enough.. english is the section which makes the difference.. they do put up some tricky questions.. make sure you go through the grammar.. specially nouns, prepositions, adverbs, tenses, etc. Practice fill in the blanks questions.

As per my experience in 2008, the forums at orkut or FB have all the latest info on DOJs. So if that is the last date you've seen there, then that is it. I'll check out in office, and let you know if I get any other info. Now focus on your prep,you can worry later about DOJs and all. Infy will definitely give you a DOJ on time. Do PM me in case you have any other query with respect to the selection process and all.
I have been recuited On Campus By Infosys in January 2010. I have got Infosys joining date 13-Dec-2010. But I have also been selected by TCS in their Off Campus Drive. They have given me Offer Letter but their Joining Letter is yet to come. I am a Non CS/IT student and don't know much about Computer Languages . I am having great confusion as I have no idea to join which company. I want to know Which is better Company out of two for me? Which Company will provide me better work atmosphere and job security? First of all please refrain from sharing your mail ID on the forum publicly. Use PM for that. Edit your post to remove it asap, or else you might be banned.
Regarding your query, there's no formula or policy used by Infosys to calculate bond money. It all depends on the situation. You might be waived off your amount also, if you have a valid and genuine reason. It's always the HR's call. No one can make any calculations before hand.

What happens if i break the bond??? I heard Infosys is not interested in legal proceedings afterwards. Is it true??
No point believing in hearsay........you might get off easy.....but you might get screwed as well....

since my joining is late in december, i am answering all exams( cat xat etc..). There is a strong possibility that i'll get into one of the b schools. Now i'm scared whether ill be able to break bond or not!!!

Don't worry. Just resign and ask them to waive off the bond.
hey i got placed in infosys on 14th sept,10 but they didnt give any conformation or joining letter. They told us that they will contact us within 3-4 weeks. where to contact to remind them for conformation letter.
