Hi..
Can anyone throw some light on the timings of class during training..Just wanted to know whether i would have any time to study for CAT.


9 to 12 theory sessions
14 to 17:30 lab sessions (this can vary from 17:00 to 17:45 based on the module and assignments for particular day)

after 17:30 ,its ur wish to study ,play or roam around

The class timing is from 9am to 5:00pm that can go till 5:30 or 6:00, but you will have to study after that if u need to pass the module.. So it depends on you. If you want to pass modules and remain in Infy than u will have to make a little effort..
During our time trainees used to sit in classrooms till 10 or 11 pm..

Hi,
You get official internet access for few hours ( was 2 hours for our batch) in morning and as well in evening. You can access PG easily during this time.

Apart from this , there is Reliance webworld in campus itself, where you can go and surf net as pr your convenience 😃

Is this daily or once in a week sort of thing.If its daily then am extremely happy..
What is the timing.Sorry for being extremely curious.Some say classes start at 9 and end at 5:30.So when was the 2hrs allowed for you then?


some more good news to add..
to provide more time for u people to learn more,interner hours are extended..
as far as i know they are from 5pm to 9AM next day...
during our training time as vision bhai said,we just use to have for 2 hrs

and weekends its 24 hrs u can access net....

If yes then can't I go there a week or 2-3 days before my joining date to complete the formalities as I can't reach there before 6pm a day before my joining date... as i think 6pm would be very late to complete the formalities that day...

nope it is not possible to do those 2-3 days before joining date

if u would be reaching late on that day,may be u can reach mysore a day before ,take a room outside and can join the next day

any how 6pm ,i don't think is late....people do reach late than that time(better get it confirmed)

bilkul ghatiya company ... infy sucks big time .cant believe i wasted 4 years in this boring, creativity less factory with rules for everything right from walking on the road to using the gym.
There is a dress code for evrything even for gym and there are people who are so useless ,they are selected for the gym committees where they donothing but monitor who is wearing trousers and who is not.They see who has kept his bad outside the gym.Such morons there exist.I have no words for them.
The HR is absolutely useless they will check your dress code when you are having lunch ,when you you want to have some time for peace.
The guards are rude , they think they enjoy more power than the software engineers.
There are dress code committes who wuill roam around and catch people for not wearing ties and shoes.
Also there are boring stupid SPMs,PMs and GPMs who believe a lot in the institution of discipline as if it were the indian army

any how..what ever u are stating here is just ur opinion and its better u keep it ur self

who ever asks for queries here are not asking u or me regarding whether to join or not ,but rather some things which they want to know before coming here

for some people ,it might be dream company,for some they joined here as it is the one which came to their college...so u can't generalise it for every one giving such rude statements...

infact i completed 2 years in infy and i am still sane .....

e-docket and e-joining are 2 diferent thngs in infy ...

e-joining is what is completed as a part of joining formalities and u need 2 fill it up before comin 2 mysore or else u wl hv 2 fill it as a 4-page form in pen nd ppr whn u complt ur formalities here ...

e-docket is a space in ur personal profile in infy where u maintain all the details such as the educational certis etc.
u need nt wrry abt th e-docket rite nw as u need to complete it 6 weeks before u complete ur trainin nd get posted. So, thts nt a concern 4 u ppl nw ...

man i am not sure if you are an infoscion, or are just trying to gain some popularity for yourself. My first ques, if you find it useless why were you there for 4 years and having a dress code for gym is not at all a thing of concern.
Discipline do you think is not paid attention to in any of other organizations or b schools. sorry to say so u got it whole wrong...

@tejthekiran It is a very useless question that why were you there for 4 years. It is not that as soon as you start disliking a company then you leave it. Over the years you realize that enough is enough and this is the time to quit. And then a person starts looking out and finally quits.

I still believe, that Infosys is a company where you should start your career. It gives you an attitude that people who start from other companies lack. There are multiple faces of a cube and so are of a company - some are good and some are bad. It is up to the individuals, which face they adore and which they abhor.

I think this is not the right forum for all this. Let us continue with the thread.

No!! The official policy does nt allw u 2 crry ny external storage devices into the campus.
Moreovr, u wl nt b able 2 use it here as all th USB drives are disabled in the PCs. So, its of no use 2 bring a pen drive here !!!

The class timing dnt mttr ... u wl hv time 2 stdy for CAT only if u hv gd technical knwledge and if u r an exprt at time management.

Work-ex less thn 8-10 mnths is considered as zero at ny gd b-skul.

So, if u wnt 2 join ths year u wl nt hv th weightage of work-ex added 2 ur profile. Ths hampers the vry purpose of joining the company if ur aim is to gt into a gd b-skul wth wrk-ex !!!

i joined infosys on 24th august 2009 and will be completing a year here this august. just need to ask what would be my bond amount if i leave infy now? my date of confirmation is due on 1st march 2011.
