Yes there are holidays during dussera and diwali. You can plan in advance for your vacation

Hi ppl,

I am unable to access e-joining. It says my username and password is invalid. I think I've forgotten my password. There is no option as 'forgot password'. Is e-joining mandatory? Should the print out be submitted at the time of joining?

Are u entering ur password in the format---> 13-Sep-1988(mind it month's first alphabet shud be in caps)

i have applied for the extension of my joining at [email protected] four days back and my initial joining is due 25 June......Since applying, i have not received any response, till when is the response and new offer letter expected ?? in any case, can it come after 25 June ??....please share your experiences..

holidays ..yup u do have
but then u cannot take more holidays during training
suppose if festival is on tuesday,only that day would be holiday and u have to attend classes on preceding monday and wednesday which follows it

for taking a leave u have to contact the batch owner and it takes a valid reason to convince him for granting leave

so don't be too hopeful ofspending holidays at home

Also, he told that we will be put under great work pressure during the first two years. He suggested we might have to work for 12 to 15 hours daily. Is there any truth in his statements?

completely wrong information ... please ask your friend to not spread wrong information .

Work pressure depends on project you are working in and on the state of project ... at critical state of project, you might have to work more than other people . If you are not on any project, then there is 0 workload and no need to stay more than minimum working hours required.

Hi,

Send a reminder mail at above id once again as well as try to call HR people at the contact number given in offer letter.

As far as i know, any extension will be made only before your original date of joining. Also , if not attached earlier, then attach relevant scanned copies with the mail to support the reason of request of extension.

1.i will be giving online mocks......so is there a place in campus or nearby where i can give mock ie some peaceful env
2.how far is time and cl frm campus
3.i need to take the printouts of those mocks so is ther some printout facility
4.i have sme soft copy of material so can i carry pen drive with me

yup...u have places inside campus to give mock cats
they are called cyber cafes and net would be available on weeknds on weekdays after 5


2.how far is time and cl frm campus
they are 6-7 km from infy...CL is easy to reach than time,but not a problem but are reachable...IMS is a bit far

print out facility not available for trainees...but outside campus there are shops available

if u can carry it in ur pocket its fine...or else u have to take a declaration form for it at gate and can carry
current trainees can give a better picture

Till our batch , i.e. 2008 pass out batch , there was no provision of single room for girls .... not sure about 2009 batch , but as far as i know, they are still continuing same model of room allocation ... single for boys and double occupany for girls.

May be someone from 2009 batch who has already joined , confirm it for you!

I just got it confirmed from one of my friends from 2009 batch who got posted in bangalore around 1-2 months ago, she told that she was also
alloted room on double occupancy basis only and same was the case with other girls of her batch.

Hello seniors

My initial date of joining was 21st june 2010. I applied for extension of my date of joining by sending them a mail on 17th June 2010 but till now i haven't received any response from their side.I did attach the relevant documents with the mail.

After how many days do we get a response from them. Please share your experiences.Please help me out.

this might seem a bit off-topic,still i need an answer..our campus interviews start this august and i am preparing for all softy companies. it is especially hard for me beacuse i am doing civil engg. ,so this complete change of field is getting a bit hectic for me,nevertheless, i am doing my best at c/c++... so what is want to ask is... is that enuff ?? i am pretty confident that i'll clear the aptitude section but in the technical paper if they sql/DS/OS and all.. i am gone,
so... is it mandatory to clear all the sections... i have heard that a good aptitude will generally see u through an infosys interview... how true is it ?
