ppl from cs/it from our coll got doj as june 7 th in the old and the new offer letter mailed to them.
but we got doj july 19 in d old one then june 24 in the new one.

hi.....i recently got a new mail and offer letter for the preponed date of joining from October to June:w00t: (without any this ejoining crap website:nono:).......anyone else got a preponement of their joining by mail ?....
can anyone share what could be the reason behind this sudden preponement by 4 months.....me from non-cs background ?

i too got a new offer letter stating that the old one was considered to be null and void and my doj was preponed from july 19 to june 24.
but obviously donno the reason for this change in doj.

The Joing Dates depend upon the following criterias:
1. Business Requirements of Resources In the Market
2. Accomodation and Training facilities available at Mysore Campus.

The Preponement in Joing Dates may have occured in case of any of these above mentioned possibilities.

Note: Infosys has recently came up with GEC-2(Global Education Centre-2) which has the capacity to train approx 10k students at the same time in addition to GEC-1 which had the capacity of 4K.

Also Infy is getting more and more projects as market has opened up!!

I'm In love with INFOSYS MYSORE... and i'm sure you'll feel the same for it!!

Do not worry about joining dates ..they clear batch by batch ..once you enter the program ..it will be fun

previously it was 4 oct so not much of a difference for me.

is there any one wid the same joining date??

it would be 5 and half months as of now

it might change for the batches starting from june

have been selected fer Infy....doj is 16 aug...(preponed frm 30 aug).......the offer letter which i have gt does not state that the laptops are not allowed...or ny thing of that sorts.......so do i assume that laptops are allowed?.......if not then when do i know if at all the laptops are allowed or not..??....thanks...

hi i too got my doj preponed to jun 24th...i am frm NITwarangal, mech branch
i have 2 doubts
1)my project is goint to finish on 15th and the results will come by 20 th or so...i dont hav any original certificates with me...they only be issued on the day convocation only...what if v dont submit originals on doj.....and on the doj i will be having a simple print out copy my results(just announced) to show as me passing the exam.....is it enough???
2)my dad and my brother are planing to accompany me to mysore...are they allowed inside campus...i heard some folks saying they will be allowed till gate only.....so guys...plz help me

can any1 tell me how much money i hav to pay infosys if i quit during the training itself. i mean within 2-3 months of joining infy..

Hi all,

Laptops are not allowed. Even if you get it they will ask you 2 leave outside the gate .
As far as original documents are concerned, Take with you whatever you
have and you can submit the remaining later..its not a problem.

if you wanna leave infy during training, just fail in training, y wory 2 pay nythng, many trainees do dis as they get joinings from odr companies.
Else the compensation is dependent on ur stay.

1.m not going to receive my degree before my joining at infy, so can i get my nsr done before i have my b.tech degree? and if i can, does it make sense to do it before i come to mysore ?

2.does infy want only that i register online fr the nsr process or i need to to get the verification at one of their centers as well?

if somebdy cud share hw they went about the process themselves, that wud be very helpfull....

Hi,
It will be better if you complete your NSR formalities before coming for training. During Induction you will require to mention your NSR pin in some documents. All those who do not have NSR will be given some time period to complete the NSR registration, but then you wont have much time and also it will be a new place for you. So it is always better to complete NSR registration before you go for joining.

Can u plz tell me wht is d relation between time of stay n bond amount..
Directly proportional to time of stay or inversely?
