My god! Such utter disrespect for an institute/s 😲 I have been a neutral observer and I really like the way u have been taking up queries from aspirants.... but still the choice of words can be improved.. I guess this also comes under leadership skills!

It should improve if lives of future students are not at stake.
Also being politically correct is not on of my strong points.

I just thought I was doing my primary duty - Also as a citizen on India, I had hoped that HRD ministry would have had the foresight to open an IIM Mumbai rather than let IIM-Indore open a room with glasses in IIM-Indore/Mumbai. I am sorry but I am not that big a hypocrite :)

Hi, I have got offer for Dual country course in IMT-G, I heard I will not be considered for PGDM-FT or Finance if I don't make the payment for 50,000 (correct me If I am wrong) ..Now my query is when will the refund of Rs. 49,000 be done?1. Will the refund be done as soon as I reject the offer? If yes, what is the maximum time limit after i convey the rejection of my offer, will I get my payment back?
2. What is the probability of me being shortlisted for PGDM-Full time in IMT-G through wait-list movement? For the waitlist movement, Is there a separate waitlist for the respective PGDM courses Or can I already assume to be in the waitlist of the PGDM-FT? First of all, I (or anyone else) definitely can`t teach u to be a better person because that`s not my job :)
Second of all, being well mannered and not badmouthing anyone or anything (in this case an institute) doesn`t make someone a hypocrite.
Anyways, it`s good that you are helping aspirants and yes I somewhat agree with ur views related to the not so well planned initiatives by hrd and some institutes (including new iims)... but I would still say give them some time.... let the baby grow some teeth.... it takes time to build a brand. Yes new IIMs are under the IIM umbrella brand but they have to make their own destiny and I am sure they will. Anyways this is an IMT thread and let`s not drag this issue further. If all`s cool :)

I come to a b-school to study under the best profs, get the best internships, go for the best short term projects with companies nearby and get recruited at the best salary possible in the best profile possible in the best industry possible. So yes, lets wait for the cake to bake - Meanwhile, let the show run? :)

@abhimanyu9 : the specialization isnt completely removed. It is being restructured to fit to industry needs and give u a better chance at placements. U ll be notified once the structure is finalized
